  • Yes! Bullying can take place in daycare and schools continue to turn a blind eye. I believe we send our kids to daycare so that they are safe, cared for, intellectually stimulated, and learn how to treat others with respect. This school has utterly failed on all fronts. When a student came forward about being bullied for several months, they did nothing to address it. There wasn’t even a sit-down chat with the child or any parties involved. Not only that, the teachers did not even inform the parents of this presently ongoing situation for LITERAL MONTHS. Their inaction shows negligence and honestly hints to the other children that that kind of behavior is condoned. I really am trying to keep a level head as I write this, but it absolutely boggles my mind how blasé the school was because they DID NOT COMMUNICATE ANYTHING until they were finally confronted by the parents. Save your child the pain and look elsewhere. They will not feel heard. Their mental health will suffer. They will not be cared for. And you won’t be getting any honest updates of what your child could actually be going through.

Questions parents ask about KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY

Is KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY holds Pennsylvania certificate 102961544-0005, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Delaware County. The current certificate runs to May 20, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on September 8, 2020. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY accept child care subsidy?

Yes. KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.

Does this page show inspection results for KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects KNOWLEDGEPOINTS LEARNING ACADEMY's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
