  • I have been coming to the daycare since my 12 years old was 2 years old. It was amazing back then . Today 08/01/25 I had to pull my 3 years old daughter out due to . The punishment for prizes by a staff in the 3 year old class. Punishing a 3 year after she apologized it is foul. There is a excuse for every mistake or when my kid had a bad day. Never in a million years I thought this daycare would be this bad , with grown up behavior , I trust to watch my kid. Serious background check need to done , before they hired anyone in that place .

  • The staff is friendly, and care so well for our children. There are not enough nice things I could say in regards to all staffing and the facility as a whole. The facility allows for a variety of curriculum and diverse learning from food to activities. We have been at this facility for three years now, and we are happy to remain apart of the KCDC family. Will always recommended this center to family and friends. Thankful for their whole team. Teachers, directors, cleaning staff and cooks.

  • We love KCDC!! We've felt nothing but love and support for our 2 kids while being here! The teachers are all so nice and understanding of both my children and their needs. They have great parent interaction without demanding full time participation.

  • Our children, 6 and 4, have attended KCDC since they were infants. I’ve always felt secure knowing my children were being well taken care of while I was working. The classes are fun and the teachers are amazing. We could not ask for a better daycare.

  • 2 of my grandchildren go to Kochenderfer. They love their teachers and always have stories of activities they do with their friends every day. I'm very impressed with how they have handled the covid-19 regulations. I feel like the kids are safe, and they are able to keep me safe when I'm dropping off and picking up. Everyone I have talked to has been helpful and kind.

  • My son has been going to this daycare for almost two years now. He started in the 2 year old room and in January 2020 he had to be pulled from daycare due to having liver Cancer. The daycare staff has been nothing but amazing during his many transitions. Teachers would constantly check in on him, kids would send him cards and drawings and even the Church members took great care of us. When we pulled him out to start his chemotherapy right away Sara, the director told me to not worry about anything such as my balance or his spot. She held his spot for when he was ready to return he would transition to the preschool class. She did not care about the balance left all she wanted was for me to focus on my son. That really meant a lot , I would constantly email her to ask when I could come in to make a payment and she always told me not to worry about it. Just recently in June he got re enrolled back to daycare. It’s been hard as he hasn’t gone for over 6 months but the teachers there especially Ms.Kelli and Ms. Richelle have made drop off very simple by waiting for him at the door and it makes him comfortable seeing them there at the door. Simple things like that show me they care about my son and it makes me feel good when I drop him off because I know he’s in good hands. His teachers never complain when I harass them through the class dojo and they have always communicated with me through class dojo or a phone call if something is wrong. All the staff there are amazing and I wouldn’t trade our daycare family for anything in the world!

Does KOCHENDERFERS CHRISTIAN DAY CARE accept child care subsidy?

Yes. KOCHENDERFERS CHRISTIAN DAY CARE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. Does this page show inspection results for KOCHENDERFERS CHRISTIAN DAY CARE?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects KOCHENDERFERS CHRISTIAN DAY CARE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
