  • Refused to give me the EIN number for my taxes which their tax statement does not include and is required by state law. Just unprofessional and giving me a hassle for nothing I was paying out of pocket and can’t even put my child care credit on my taxes.

  • I was very hestitant to put my baby in another daycare but once I seen that my job demanded 12 hrs 6x a week. I took a leap of faith and sent her to Learn N Play. Since started there have been no major concerns. She’s extremely bright and learns alot. I come home suprised after my busy work schedule shocked at what my 1 yr old knows. The kids I bring around my daughter that are not in school do not talk as well as her, or know as much as her. For that I am extremely satisfied with the learning my daughter has been picking up.

  • I will never recommend this daycare for any child. They put my toddler daughter with the babies because “she cries too much”. Yall are a daycare. Yall should be able to deal with that. Anyway I got her into the YMCA learning center. Yall should look into that instead.

  • Very unprofessional the staff n the fact that's its next to a deli doesn't help if u have time to research a better daycare then do so don't waste your time putting your child here

Is LEARN N PLAY ACADEMY 3 a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. LEARN N PLAY ACADEMY 3 holds Pennsylvania certificate 104001653-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to November 1, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

Pennsylvania rates LEARN N PLAY ACADEMY 3 STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on November 21, 2022. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against LEARN N PLAY ACADEMY 3?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against LEARN N PLAY ACADEMY 3 at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does LEARN N PLAY ACADEMY 3 accept child care subsidy?

Yes. LEARN N PLAY ACADEMY 3 holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.

Does this page show inspection results for LEARN N PLAY ACADEMY 3?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects LEARN N PLAY ACADEMY 3's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
