  • We have had such a positive experience at Little Bears. The admin and teachers are caring, patient, and genuinely love working with kids. Our daughter is happy going to Little Bears every day! As a parent, I really appreciate how seriously they take safety and how attentive the staff are throughout the day, I love how they have security cameras in classrooms and around the building. It makes me feel at ease! I also love that they teach inclusivity, they even incorporated Philippine cuisine to their lunch for our daughter. I highly recommend this center to any family looking for a safe and nurturing place for their child. ❤️

  • I was nervous leaving my baby for the first time after maternity leave. They staff at Little Bears Childcare and Preschool reassured me that my baby girl was in great hands. They have an app called Brightwheel which is an app where they log daily activities for your baby like diaper changes, bottles, how much they ate, took pictures throughout the day. If they had a question, they reached out. They also have excellent quality cameras in every room that also has audio. I highly recommend enrolling your baby/child at Little Bears Childcare and Preschool Learning.

  • The workers in this facility are extraordinary! My daughter has learned a lot of valuable things from them from mastering her ABC's to being able to count to 30. She's learned that bad words aren't nice and it's not just mommy and daddy that don't like them! If you want your children treated with the individual needs your baby or toddlers need this is the best place to have your peanut go! The staff are not only receptive to your needs but also give advice when needed. It's just an all around awesome atmosphere!

  • My son is 3, almost 4 years old and was diagnosed with autism. He does not have many words and often gets frustrated that he is unable to communicate. If you’ve ever experienced this, you understand the tantrums, the behavior issues, the emotional roller coaster. Tantrums so bad he has no regard to whether or not he is injuring himself or others. Because of this, my son has only ever been in the care of his parents or his grandmother while we are at work. I have feared sending him to preschool for years because of so many children being kicked out for much lesser issues. When the owner of Little Bear reached out to me, Ms. Carrie, she told me that they work with children with special needs often and they don’t believe in refusing education to any child, as long as we worked together as a team. I told her about some of my sons issues and she still chose to accept him into the class and welcomed him with a positive attitude and outlook. The first few weeks were very difficult. He did not want to go and clung to me for dear life at drop off. I watched him through the window and saw the tantrum as I had to drive away. His teacher, Ms. Tierney handled this like a pro. Because of her proactive response, close attentiveness to his needs, positive mindset, and amazing instinct when it came to minimizing his outburst, his adjustment to preschool has been nothing short of amazing. She thinks outside of the box and makes accommodations so none of the children have to feel left out because of their abilities. This morning when I dropped him off, he saw Ms. Tierney and hopped and skipped into the classroom with the biggest smile on his face and it took everything I had not to cry tears of joy. He has only been attending Little Bear since September and in less than two short months, his behaviors have improved, his ability to follow directions has increased significantly, and he is just an overall happier child. And, seeing him be able to have these normal childhood experiences without his diagnosis interfering means the world to his father and I. And, we owe it all to Little Bear, Ms. Carrie, and especially his teacher Ms. Tierney for not giving up on him no matter how difficult it can get (even when he headbutted her in the face by accident). Little Bear does not give up on your children or kick them out at the first sign of struggle. They work their butts off to give them the education they so desperately need. I cannot thank them enough for all they have done for my son.

  • We switched both our kids (3Y boy and 4Y girl) from another local daycare recently and couldn’t be happier with that decision. Little Bears is a next level educative facility that goes above and beyond the babysitting daycares around. Our kids were never excited to go to school in the mornings before, now they wake themselves up and get themselves ready because of how much they enjoy going. Making this switch has brought so many obvious improvements from behaviors to cognitive acuity. Our kids even bring school home everyday, making us be their students and educating us how they are taught in their day. The staff are clearly so well informed on deescalation approaches for young children, and early childhood education. We really appreciate the communication and updates in the app throughout our kids’ day, too. Canned fruits and frozen foods bothering you at your current childcare provider? Not here. All organic, Whole Foods. They also utilize the app for weekly payments; no more antiquated checks that take days to process! Miss Carrie has put her entire life into this facility and it is so clear in every way. We really cannot brag enough about this school. We’ve never felt better about our children’s wellbeing throughout the day. If you’re thinking about enrolling your child here, don’t hesitate. It truly is a blessing all around.

  • This daycare has been an absolute blessing! From the start, it felt like a place where every child is genuinely seen and cared for. Miss Carrie, the owner, sets the tone with her hands-on, caring leadership and the pride she takes in both the kids and her staff. I appreciate the importance placed in safety and parents’ assurance with things like a camera system, security features, educational curriculum, Brightwheel app, and hard-to-come-by state recognized Keystone Stars. My daughter tells me every week how much she loves the staff at Little Bears, and I can tell how much they help build her confidence and add to her motivation to learn, have fun, and explore creativity. Miss Tierney is a thoughtful, dedicated teacher who truly invests in each child’s growth. Miss Martina goes above and beyond supporting daily functions, making sure my daughter has everything she needs to thrive. Mr. Noah went out of his way to make sure my daughter had a special birthday treat to share with her classmates, and Miss Gabrielle greets my daughter every day with a smile. I was offered spots at other popular daycares after enrolling, but none of them had the heart this place does. The personalized care my daughter has received from being at Little Bears has made a positive difference in her life and who she is growing up to be. I couldn’t be happier!
