My son loves it here. He’s been going here for almost a year and we have had no issues. He’s 14 months. There are several other kids his age that he gets to interact with. Some days he does go through lots of clothes, but some days he doesn’t. Kiddos are messy. It’s reasonably priced and safe. I can tell they care about him, and he always is happy to see the staff.
M SMar 23, 2023My two children are loved in here and they love to playing with friends and great teachers. Staff is great and I'll recommend to anyone
Lino Roberto MenéndezFeb 23, 2023My son has been going to Little Bears Day Care since he was 4 months old, he is now 1 years old. The staff loves him and takes really good care of him. He enjoys going to daycare and has lots of friends his age to play with. He even gets excited when he sees the staff for the 1st time in the morning. Some other things I like about this daycare is that they provide meals and snacks, they actively try to teach him new things, the facility is newer and maintained, and they have a secured entrance.
Brandon SmithJan 11, 2023My daughter's all go here for daycare and after school care. They have learned so much that when starting kindergarten they are ready and well prepared! It's nice not having to worry about packing lunches and snacks because they are provided for them there.
Tina EatonOct 4, 2022If I could give 0 stars I could. I wasn’t going to leave a review, but it might save a mother with an infant or child in general. I have thought about this for 2 weeks now - my infant son was there for TWO days total before getting sick. I know daycares get sick and everything, but my infant that is suppose to be separated from the older kids was sick after only going for two days? (Who is still sick and developed a double ear infection and croup) when I picked him up his first day there he was laying ON THE FLOOR and another infant was SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR beside him. They have a whole back section with cribs but let these infants lay on the floor. He would also go through 3+ outfits A DAY with his shirt(s) being completely soaked front and back clear down to his belly button. My mom picked him up for his appointment his last day there and told me he was sitting alone facing the wall with older kids running around him and he was SO COLD. This I know being true since when he got to me 15 minutes later he was indeed soaked and cold to touch. The owner said they have the temp set to 70 which not is not very warm to an infant in a soaking wet outfit. (I also packed 2 blankets for him every day) The day I went to pick up the remainder of this things they were sitting outside the main door where anyone could have taken them. I would save your $40 a day because it is definitely not worth it.

Questions parents ask about LITTLE BEARS DAYCARE
Is LITTLE BEARS DAYCARE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. LITTLE BEARS DAYCARE holds Pennsylvania certificate 102484336-0003, listed as "SANCTIONED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Centre County. The current certificate runs to February 17, 2024. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is LITTLE BEARS DAYCARE's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania publishes no Keystone STARS tier for LITTLE BEARS DAYCARE. Keystone STARS is voluntary, so a provider with no tier has not taken part rather than been judged. Licensing and STARS are separate: a provider without a tier is still certified and still inspected.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against LITTLE BEARS DAYCARE?
- The state's provider dataset records a negative sanction against LITTLE BEARS DAYCARE. That flag is all Pennsylvania publishes in this dataset: it does not say what the sanction was, when it happened, or how serious it was, and a sanction can range from a paperwork lapse to a serious finding. Look the provider up at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch and read the licensing record before drawing a conclusion from this line.
Does this page show inspection results for LITTLE BEARS DAYCARE?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects LITTLE BEARS DAYCARE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
