  • I can’t say enough good things about this daycare. I was a stay at home mom for 10+ years. And the thought of leaving my children with anyone else was scary. But once my kids started at little lights, all of my worries disappeared. I can go to work everyday and know that not only are my kids happy, they are safe. The ladies working there are the best and treat all of the kids so well. They are kind and understanding. The owner is so nice and helpful. They provide meals, outdoor time, activities. They also post pictures daily, send you notes, updates, tell you what the kids are eating for their meals, when they’re being changed, when they nap. And a special shoutout to miss Stephanie! My kids love her so much! 10/10 would recommend this daycare to anyone!

  • We absolutely love our daughter’s daycare! ❤️ The staff is incredibly caring, attentive, and welcoming, and we always feel confident knowing she’s in such great hands. She’s happy, learning, and excited to go every day, which means the world to us as parents. We couldn’t be happier with the care she receives and would highly recommend this center to any family! 🥰

  • I thank God for finding this daycare. After visiting more than seven different centers in Hazleton, none of them gave my son the attention or patience he required; here, however, I found all of that. My son is happy at this daycare, and—most importantly—he is safe. Thank you for having such a true vocation for caring for children. I recommend this place 1,000 out of 1,000—you will not regret it! le doy gracias a dios por encontrar este daycare despues de andar mas de 7 daycare en hazleton ningunos les prestaban la atencion requerida a mi hijo ni la paciencia y aqui encontre todo eso mo hijo es feliz en este daycare y lo ams iportante esta seguro gracias por tener vocacion para el cuidado de los niños lo recomiendo 1000 de 1000 no se van a repentir

  • My son just started and he’s been having a tough time transitioning and they have been nothing but AMAZING. Send me pictures all day and answer any of my questions. And you can tell they love him too. So happy I found them

  • Little Lights is truly a one of a kind place. The staff is great. Between the reports I receive during the day and the feedback at pick up. I feel like I was there the whole day. If you want a place that your child will love going to. Little lights is the place. Every morning my son looks forward to ringing the doorbell to let all his friends know he is there and ready to play.

Questions parents ask about LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE

Is LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE holds Pennsylvania certificate 104462445-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Luzerne County. The current certificate runs to October 7, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on April 21, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE accept child care subsidy?

Yes. LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 11.

Does this page show inspection results for LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects LITTLE LIGHTS DAY CARE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
