  • We have been at magnolia for almost 4 years with 2 kids. The teachers are truly amazing. They go above and beyond every day. My oldest was more than prepared when he started kindergarten and my daughter's language has improved so much in the few months that she has been there. We trust and appreciate the staff so much.

  • I loved this school with everything in me. On July 7th, 2025 my child was sent to this center without a scratch. He left with 6, what doctors believe to be burns on his leg and the teachers and staff can not give me ANY insight on what could have happened. When speaking to the director she stated she would use this for training and that’s about it. If you care about your child; don’t send them here.

  • Magnolia has really been a shining spot in my daughter and I's life. As a single mom who had her first child during COVID-19, making the decision to place her in daycare was a nerve wrecking one, but upon meeting the owners, I knew things would be alright. The owners (Nick and Nancy), Miss Amber and Miss Ashley have been there with me throughout my daughter's entire time at Magnolia and have really made it as warm as possible. They have really taken the time to build a relationship with both of us and I know that I can come to them with any questions or concerns and have them addressed. If I had to do the daycare process all again, I would absolutely choose Magnolia. My daughter has grown so much and I am lucky she will continue to be with the staff there as she makes her transition into elementary school!

  • Avoid this place. They force sick staff to show up, spreading colds and fevers to both kids, employees, and parents. Management cares only about profit—call‑outs for genuine illness are frowned upon. Also, they shove your kids into one room without the correct amount of teachers so your kids will be neglected. As an example, imagine 8 babies with one teacher…burnout is constant and turnover is constant. If you value kids’ safety or your own, steer clear. EDIT 4/22/25: Based on the reply below, I assume you can take a chance on my word over the owners. At the end of the day, its your choice and your kids safety.

  • Magnolia Children’s Academy has truly been a blessing for my family. From the moment we walked in, we felt the warmth and care that fills this place. The teachers show my daughter so much love and attention—they genuinely care about every child and treat them like their own. She’s always excited to go to school, and as a parent, that peace of mind is priceless. The entire staff is simply excellent. Everyone works as a team; you can tell there’s a strong sense of support and community. The owners go above and beyond—not just for the children but also for their staff. They regularly plan fun activities and little surprises to show appreciation for all the hard work and always ensure we have what we need to succeed in the classroom. The director, Jen, and assistant director, Amber, are wonderful. They are supportive, approachable, and consistently do their best to help the staff while keeping daycare policies in mind. They’re always there to answer questions, provide guidance, and ensure we’re set up for success in the classroom. While I’ve decided to step away from my teaching position at Magnolia, it is only because of a job advancement opportunity at another daycare. That said, I will be keeping my daughter at Magnolia—because of just how much she enjoys her teachers. That speaks volumes about the kind of care and connection this place fosters. I’m so grateful to be part of the Magnolia family!

  • Review: We absolutely loved Magnolia Children’s Academy! Even though there were several childcare options closer to us, we chose to drive over 20 minutes one way because of the incredible care and atmosphere they provide. The teachers were always open and communicative, keeping me informed about my child’s progress, day-to-day activities, and any concerns. It was clear they genuinely cared about each child. Even when it came to potty training, his teacher was willing to work with us to make sure he didn’t lose any progress that was made and continued to reward, praise, and encourage him for continuing to go in the bathroom at school. What really stood out was the sense of community. My child made wonderful, long-lasting friendships here, and it was heartwarming to see them excited to go each day. Magnolia Children’s Academy truly felt like a second home for our family, and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against MAGNOLIA CHILDRENS ACADEMY?

Does MAGNOLIA CHILDRENS ACADEMY accept child care subsidy?

Yes. MAGNOLIA CHILDRENS ACADEMY holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 17.

Does this page show inspection results for MAGNOLIA CHILDRENS ACADEMY?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects MAGNOLIA CHILDRENS ACADEMY's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
