MISS JOANS LITTLE SCHOOL

Miss Joan’s Little School provided the perfect first school experience for all four of our children. The staff is exceptional, and it’s clear they genuinely love working with kids. One of the things we appreciated most was the low turnover—our children had the same teachers as their siblings, which created a sense of continuity and comfort. The curriculum was thoughtfully designed and engaging, and the special activities were always a highlight, executed flawlessly each time. Our family’s experience was truly wonderful. While we were sad to move on as our children grew older, Miss Joan’s will always hold a special place in our hearts.

All 3 of my kids have gone here. It is the BEST in the area!!! All staff is older and knowledgeable about child development. You won't have a teenager watching your child! All staff has been there forr years! Owner and director do most amazing activities (Halloween parade, veterans day events, class plays, art shows, Spanish classes, Music classes, puppet shows, mothers/fathers day events, etc). I cannot say enough great things about Miss Joans Little School! It is truly a LITTLE school and everyone knows everyone and everyone CARES about everyone! Hands down the BEST!!!!!!

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Miss Joan’s Little School for our daughter. The teachers are wonderful and seem to truly love and care about all of the kids. The communication from both our daughter’s teacher, and the school as a whole, is excellent. There are fun activities for the kids during the school day, including music and Spanish classes, and many family events, as well. Our daughter has grown so much since starting here, and we are endlessly grateful to the wonderful teachers and staff for creating such a positive, loving space.

MJLS is a beautifully run preschool program. Krista and Gina (the owner and director) are truly invested in every child and their family. The teachers are all wonderful - knowledgeable on early childhood development and dedicated to making learning fun and engaging. Both of my kids started when they were 18 months old - my son graduated from PreK in 2021 and my daughter will this year. The transition to kindergarten was seamless due to the excellent foundation achieved in this environment. I can honestly say that I will miss the staff because they feel like family after all these years!

We absolutely love Miss Joan’s Little School. The teachers are all incredibly nice and good with the students. I love that few times a month they will have music class or Spanish, and sometimes a visit from the fire department or a fun event. They also have a great summer camp, which is hard for find for younger kids, with water days, Kona ice, and different themed weeks to keep it fun. We switched to MJLS from a daycare and I am so happy we did. The staff is great at communicating with the parents and we love all of the events that we get invited to.
