  • I have never had a worse experience with childcare. I enrolled my twin boys, who just turned 3, in the Early Pre-K program with before- and after-care, and my 9-year-old son in the before- and after-care program only. During the very first week, one of my twins came into contact with an ice pack, consumed its contents, and poison control had to be contacted. I was not notified until well after the incident occurred. I immediately withdrew my twins from the program. My 9-year-old wished to continue attending because he had made friends. However, only two days after the ice pack incident, he told me that a staff member, Mr. Bobby, had grabbed his arm. When I confronted Mr. Bobby, he admitted to doing so and attempted to justify his actions. I made it clear that this behavior was unacceptable and warned him never to put his hands on my child again. The very next day, my children were terminated from the program. I strongly advise against enrolling your children at River Crossing YMCA. The environment is unsafe, the staff are not properly trained, and their professionalism is severely lacking.

  • I used to speak highly of them.. but come to find out my child was being mistreated, my child was listed as being put on the spectrum and required certain services such as speech and ABA services. Dawn had an issue with my son receiving services told someone during an evaluation that my son was one of the worst students she had out of her 30 years of teaching, which the behavior part of my son services were removed because he did not see what she was saying during a 4 hour evaluation. Also kept my son isolated from other students and made him sit by himself while he cried for a good 5-7 minutes in a play area where she allowed other children to switch off but made my son stay in one area.. my child also can only hear 50% which the daycare is well aware they even went as far as lying to say they were shutting down so that I can remove him and I was also told by a staff member she is racist which my son was also the only child Of color in that class

  • I do not recommend. It used to be a great place but the last year not so much. Staff is inappropriate and rude to my child constantly. It is always something when I pick her up. I am not happy at all and its a shame because my daughter used to love coming here.

Questions parents ask about MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA

Is MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA holds Pennsylvania certificate 100647933-0010, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Bucks County. The current certificate runs to March 25, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on October 24, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA accept child care subsidy?

Yes. MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA holds a subsidy agreement with the state. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 16.

Does this page show inspection results for MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects MORRISVILLE BRANCH YMCA's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
