  • My daughter has been here since she was 6 weeks old and now my newborn and I couldn’t think of anything bad to say. They may not send photos throughout the day or have cameras so you can watch your child during the day but to me that means they are present. They have been so good to us They are mostly a spanish speaking daycare but we love that. My 2 year old speaks Spanish and I love that she is learning about different cultures. Thank you for being so good to us

  • My daughter loves going to the Daycare. She likes her friends there. I wish they didn't play YouTube so much my daughter comes home singing those songs. But she is always happy and has fun there. And enjoys it.

  • My son is 4 has been attending this daycare for about two months. Has had issues with other children. This past week he came home with a mark on his cheek saying a teacher did it. Then the next day a child attacked him. We were given a report. Told that they dont have access to the camera feed only an outside source does and only if a serious accident happens. This child was supposed to be suspended for three days. My son has seen him the last two and this child wasnt suppose to go back to the facility until next week. This child is also a worker's child. Not only that issue, they offer transportation for school Reading is 30 a month well they "aren't staffed" to take him only to pick him up because hes the only child in pre k pm for Reading.

  • This place has allowed my nephew to be attacked and overlooked because the child that attacked him belongs to someone who works there. This is beyond unacceptable and will be dealt with through multiple platforms. No child should have to go through being bullied especially when its a place that's supposed to be kepping those children safe. No absolutely not we will not stand for this!!

  • My daughter went there for about a month. At first the one lady made it seem like it was a great daycare. But day after day it turned out to be horrible. I would drop my daughter off at about 11:30 am when they have kids napping. Them the days I work and drop my daughter off at 3:00 pm they would still have the kids sleeping. I think that’s way to long of a nap. Then they would be back to sleep at 6:00pm. My daughter always came home wide awake and said that all the teachers do is make her sleep all day. They do not do any learning activities with the toddlers. They literally make them sit in the room all day and sleep. The lights are always off in the room and it’s always dark. Then they have a little park on the side that they have the toddlers play in and it looks like the toys or slides don’t even get wiped down and they have about 15 toddlers playing with only 4 pieces of park equipment. On top of that all their staff are teenagers that don’t know how to do their job right watching the children. No one with real experience!!! My daughter also told me that she pooped on herself and told the teacher she wanted to change her panties but the teacher wouldn’t get up. I mean this place is horrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO SEND THEIR KIDS HERE !!!!!

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against MY FIRST STEPS CHILD CARE CENTER II?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against MY FIRST STEPS CHILD CARE CENTER II at the time the record was published. Does MY FIRST STEPS CHILD CARE CENTER II accept child care subsidy?

Yes. MY FIRST STEPS CHILD CARE CENTER II holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 13.

Does this page show inspection results for MY FIRST STEPS CHILD CARE CENTER II?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects MY FIRST STEPS CHILD CARE CENTER II's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
