This school was what dreams were made of UNTIL they sold themselves out to Premier Early Childhood Corporation. Wish that sale had never gone through. What a heartbreaking mess it is to see now.
Jillian BukerFeb 4, 2026A lovely center! We love Ms Paige and Ms Sophia and all the teachers here. I’m so pleased with Nature Nurture!
Kristen BogganFeb 4, 2026Daycare could not be bothered to call me back despite calling and leaving messages for 3 days. When I finally got ahold of them, they couldn’t accommodate a tour after waiting a year on the wait list. Don’t waste your time.
Renee BOct 8, 2025Our youngest son attended N&N while waiting for an opening at the other center LELC (same owner). This place is awesome. You can see the thought and care in all the details. My son absolutely loved his teachers and ran to give them hugs every morning and every afternoon when we picked him up. The center is always clean, there is always a director or manager available. Just an absolutely adorable environment. Our son was enrolled here for almost a year before moving to the other center. I highly recommend taking a tour and seeing it for yourself.
Lindsey Boss-RuchFeb 15, 2024I just wanted to leave this review to let everyone know how OUTSTANDING this school is. They truly love and care for their children. My son has a speech delay and works with an EIP, NNDS has accommodated his needs in remarkable ways. They work with him, his therapist, as well as myself and my husband to make sure we are all on the same page. His speech has also taken off tremendously, since attending NNDS. They give updates throughout the day and send pictures and videos. He is always so happy to go to school now and has a smile on his face when we pick him up. I cannot say enough positive things about the teachers and directors there. If you are searching for a place to send your child, this is without a doubt, where I would recommend.
Deborah PJan 14, 2022For the parents in the area, BEWARE of Nature & Nurture Discovery School. My children were seriously injured multiple times while in their care. There should be an investigation for neglect within the school. They even fed my breast milk to other children. In addition, they claim to be an early education and learning center but they are not. They literally teach the kids nothing. All they do is let the kids run wild, get hurt, hurt each other, but I guess they keep them alive so there's that. They are very expensive charging as much and in some cases MORE then actual early learning centers with none of the benefits. Save yourself the hassle, protect your kids, and set them up for success to start school by enrolling them in a UGRO, Kindercare, or Goddard School. Also, if you mention any concerns about the care of your children, the injuries, the lack of enrichment, the owner Jessica will be super rude, unprofessional, and will immediately drop your kids from care so you don't have a window to find alternative care. AVOID THIS PLACE! EDIT: I have found out that the positive reviews are either paid for or by employees. They are not real reviews both on fb and Google. They give you money off tuition if you make a fake positive review and also will enter you into raffles to win prizes for a positive review. If an establishment was truly good, it would not need to pay people or give people direct compensation for a positive review. And yes a complaint has been filed with OCDEL against the daycare and owner. Hopefully OCDEL can protect the kids.

Questions parents ask about NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL
Is NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL holds Pennsylvania certificate 103832793-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Dauphin County. The current certificate runs to September 12, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL STAR 3, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on August 10, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 9.
Does this page show inspection results for NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects NATURE AND NURTURE DISCOVERY SCHOOL's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
