  • My family loves this daycare. It has very sweet and caring staff. They have a great schedule and my daughter thrives from being there. They do so many fun things with them like Fairy Tale week and Pirate week. I get a report at the end of the day. My daughter is 2 now and has been there since she was 6 weeks old. We recently moved and mae her daycare a priority when considering a home. :)

  • My 21 year old granddaughter and I were recently discussed her childhood day care experience at New Hanover Child Care and she told me that she has very fond memories of being there. That the ladies that worked / taught there were always so kind and helpful. It makes me feel so good to know that she was happy there, since it is always a concern when you entrust your child to someone else. Its been a long time since she was there, but her smile when I mentioned it made me happy that I chose them to care for her.

Questions parents ask about NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE

Is NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE holds Pennsylvania certificate 100302040-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Montgomery County. The current certificate runs to September 11, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on September 2, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE accept child care subsidy?

Yes. NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 17.

Does this page show inspection results for NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects NEW HANOVER CHILD CARE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
