We are having a fantastic experience here so far! We have a toddler and a newborn attending, and in both classrooms we have had excellent communication and thorough updates (as well as cute photos) during the day. The staff has really been wonderful and so friendly, all while staying professional as well. The center is very clean, well organized and just beautiful inside! Having taught preschool prior myself, this is a school I would completely recommend to others! Teachers are extremely engaging and have very well thought out lesson plans for the day. So glad to have found this school!
Sabrina FiorentinoAug 17, 2026We could not be happier with our great-grandson's experience at New Scholar Academy. In just two weeks, we have seen more progress in his communication, social interaction, and overall development than we saw during his entire time at his previous daycare. The difference has been remarkable. The teachers are caring, attentive, and clearly passionate about helping children learn and grow. Their educational program is structured, engaging, and focused on each child's individual needs. It is obvious that learning is a priority here, and the staff have the knowledge and skills to help children succeed. We especially appreciate the strong emphasis on language development, communication, and school readiness. Our great-grandson is more engaged, more responsive, and showing new skills every day. As a family, we are incredibly grateful to have found a daycare where children are truly nurtured, encouraged, and taught by dedicated educators. We highly recommend New Scholar Academy to any family looking for a quality early childhood education program.
Madeline Korpalski (Lynn)Jun 23, 2026I went for a tour to New Scholar Academy, absolutely loved the facility. This place has a very nice playground, the classes are so clean and beautiful. Really liked meeting the teachers especially my child’s teacher. I’m so exited for my baby and I know she will have a good time there.
TINA SHUMOVAMar 18, 2026We cannot say enough wonderful things about New Scholar Academy! Our son is 3 years old, and this is his very first daycare experience. As parents, we were naturally very worried about how he would adjust and whether he would feel comfortable being away from home. However, from the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel completely at ease. The environment is warm, welcoming, and very well organized. The classrooms are bright, clean, and full of engaging toys and activities that are perfect for young children. It truly feels like a safe and happy place for kids to learn and grow. One thing we really appreciate is the excellent communication. We receive updates every day through the app, where the teachers post his activities, photos, and how his day is going. Having access to these updates gives us great peace of mind while we are at work and helps us stay connected to his day. What impressed us the most was how friendly and caring the staff are. They were incredibly patient and reassuring, which helped make the transition much easier for both us and our son. A very special thank you to **Ms. Marina** and **Ms. Kem**—their kindness, attention, and genuine care made a huge difference for our family. They truly make sure the children feel comfortable and supported. It gives us great peace of mind knowing our son is in such a loving environment. We are very grateful to have found New Scholar Academy and would highly recommend it to any parents looking for a nurturing and high-quality daycare for their child.

Natalie LevitskyMar 10, 2026My son just started this daycare Monday , after being in daycare since he was 4, months he is now 14 months . His old daycare was well known but there were some reasons to our switch. I was very nervous and I didn’t do the switch lightly. I saw this daycare opening 30 seconds from my job & 3 minutes from my home and I thought “probably to good to be true” well from the moment I called , walked in to meet everyone and do a tour, to talking to my husband, to deciding to apply, and bringing Karter there now daily , the experience is amazing! I feel safety there , I feel love there ! When you walk into those kids room it’s so welcoming & bright! Many toys for their age group , 2 different playground areas outside for littler & bigger kids (amazing!) The updates on the app and pictures they give all day long is also a thing I love so much I’m lucky if I got ONE picture a day at the last place, teachers are amazing , the director Maria is one of a kind! & the owners knew what they were doing! If your looking for a daycare or even a switch I’d recommend !

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against NEW SCHOLAR ACADEMY?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against NEW SCHOLAR ACADEMY at the time the record was published. Does NEW SCHOLAR ACADEMY accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. NEW SCHOLAR ACADEMY holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 16.
Does this page show inspection results for NEW SCHOLAR ACADEMY?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects NEW SCHOLAR ACADEMY's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
