I Absolutely LOVE and ENJOY the family at this Academy. The structure has gotten me and my children a long way. The time, love and energy that they all place into our children is all wonderful. They do so much with our children all year round and they are able to enjoy their summers in the city with a Family like no other. All of my children are happy here and if you’re looking for your child or children to have a structured and balanced environment and education Ogontz Academy is definitely the place where you’d want your child to be. Before and after care is available along with transportation in designated area schools.

Nel JacksonDec 7, 2024I would not recommend Ogontz Acadamy to anyone whose child has an IEP or has special needs of any kind. I do not want any parent or child to go through what I went through.

Brittney CiaraJun 14, 2018This is place should not be on your list to take your child at all ! It is not what it seems from the outside . The owner takes you on a tour showing off the building and rooms but lies beneath so horrible things ! If you love your kids please go find a loving place for them .

Questions parents ask about OGONTZ ACADEMY
Is OGONTZ ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. OGONTZ ACADEMY holds Pennsylvania certificate 101813805-0003, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to September 4, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is OGONTZ ACADEMY's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates OGONTZ ACADEMY STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on June 12, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against OGONTZ ACADEMY?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against OGONTZ ACADEMY at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does OGONTZ ACADEMY accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. OGONTZ ACADEMY holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.
Does this page show inspection results for OGONTZ ACADEMY?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects OGONTZ ACADEMY's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
