  • If you are looking for a daycare/preschool for your child and they have any sort of special needs this is absolutely not the place to go to!!! Two children both with special needs, both kicked out in the same month just recently! They obviously cannot handle children with needs or just simply do not want to deal with them, but what this facility does not realize is they have violated both of these kids rights within the disability act, and that is a violation under the department of justice. So sad because all kids deserve to be treated the same ♥️

  • I tried to be very patient with this place. I was already worried about my son going to daycare due to his age, and not 100% speaking yet, but they assured me that it would be fine, and they work on that with them, etc etc etc. That couldn’t be more far from the truth. Great daycare if all you’re concerned about is your child staying alive. Just because you can have 5 toddlers to one operator, doesn’t mean you should. Raise your prices, increase wages, hire qualified individuals and train your people better. Instead of laughing on the phone saying “you did all you can do”. I should have trusted my instincts as well as the multiple people telling me bad tales of this place; but I prioritized my career instead of my sons health, which is on me, but now my son is a completely different child after only 2 days within this daycare. DO NOT RECOMMEND for children requiring more then just a glorified babysitter. 2 stars instead of 1, because I guess good job for keeping him alive.

  • My child loves going here. They are good with her too. They truly care for all the kids. She goes to the pre k program. Keep up the goody work.

  • I think this is a wonderful daycare ❤️ I would recommend this daycare to anyone. They care for the kids and they love all the children that go there. They don't treat any kids different. They don't have favorite. They love them all.

  • My son is iffy about most people But ever since he has started Our Buddys Place he has been more social with other kids and absolutely loves his daycare teachers. Thank you everyone&staff for a loving daycare.

Questions parents ask about OUR BUDDYS PLACE

Is OUR BUDDYS PLACE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. OUR BUDDYS PLACE holds Pennsylvania certificate 102692197-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Fayette County. The current certificate runs to July 4, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is OUR BUDDYS PLACE's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates OUR BUDDYS PLACE STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on June 19, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against OUR BUDDYS PLACE?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against OUR BUDDYS PLACE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does OUR BUDDYS PLACE accept child care subsidy?

Yes. OUR BUDDYS PLACE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 4.

Does this page show inspection results for OUR BUDDYS PLACE?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects OUR BUDDYS PLACE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
