  • Odd that I'm posting this circa 20 years later, but this daycare was the best when I attended around ages 4-6. Mr. Scott and Mr. Josh were the best. There was so much to do and the staff were so good to us. I remember I overslept naptime once and they tucked me into my own corner until I woke up by myself, and gave me juice boxes and crackers after. I'd highly recommend this place for your kids if it hasn't changed much since then.

  • Our daughter has been going to PCC for three years now and the teachers and support staff have been fantastic. Highly recommend the school 👍.

  • I remember this as a personal landmark of my life, I joined when I was 3, now I'm 10. Still remember Mr. Louis? He was the best :3. Taeru signing off 😉

Questions parents ask about PENN CHILDRENS CENTER

Is PENN CHILDRENS CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. PENN CHILDRENS CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 100125877-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to July 12, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is PENN CHILDRENS CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates PENN CHILDRENS CENTER STAR 4 - ACC, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on August 29, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against PENN CHILDRENS CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against PENN CHILDRENS CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does PENN CHILDRENS CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. PENN CHILDRENS CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.

Does this page show inspection results for PENN CHILDRENS CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects PENN CHILDRENS CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
