  • ok i when to this place from when i was 3 to 10 i am older now but since i have experience you can trust me more. i went here after school and weekdays in the summer. in the summer they make you walk half a mile to a playground even though they have one on site. they force you to drink milk before you can have water and i can't even drink milk but if you don't finish it you get yelled at. they force you to play outside for 2 hours strait and you get bored 30 minutes in so you are just sitting there. the staff every one but miss sue is overly rude. Mr. bob yells if you put your 3ds on the window sill or if you are too loud. miss Valorie who works with pre schoolers yells if they do something just a little bit out of line or if they aren't laying down at nap time. my brother had experience with Mrs. sue and he really liked her and was upset when he too old to be in the toddler room. i would really only bring your toddler there for daycare.

  • The owner, Mrs, Jeanne, is extremely rude and unprofessional. What owner of a daycare tells first time parents their child is "the worst baby ever at the daycare and we should get a nanny". Don't trust the 5 star reviews. Plenty of complaints about this place. At the beginning of our time there Mrs Jeanne told me my wife was "hurting" our son by calming and comforting him by bouncing on a yoga ball. One day we were asked to pick our 6mo son up early because he was cranky. Upon pick up Mrs Jeanne, owner, said "SHE was not happy because our 6 month old son kept all the babies up from their naps and he was eating bottle after bottle, which she said was too much. We found a new daycare since that loves and cares for our son while we have him there. If the owner is getting mad at your infant baby that's a major issue. Run far away from this place. Would give 0 stars.

  • If you love your kid never ever bring this place. My kid has been there couple weeks, and every time she came home she was so hungry, we dropped foods every time with her and her face and even clothes was dirty most times. Staff is very unfriendly there's one woman who shaked my kids hand I believe she does to your kids as well. When we asked her name they didn't tell us which is against to law, As a parents we have a right to know name who is caring our kid. I can tell this place is like a Hell for kids. I'm writing the truth which is happened to us I don't recommend this place anybody ... I hope government will shut down this place...

Questions parents ask about PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER

Is PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 100129080-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Allegheny County. The current certificate runs to May 12, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on May 26, 2023. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 5.

Does this page show inspection results for PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects PENN GARDEN DAY CARE CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
