I cannot say enough about this place. My children have been with PCG Landisburg for almost 5 years. The teachers/staff are amazing. I could not ask for better people watching my children. Thank you for all you do! ❤️
Courtnay HeenanAug 8, 2025I can't recommend this daycare enough! All three of my children went through Perry County Generations (Landisburg), so we have experienced every age level offered, and we’ve had many positive experiences. Every holiday, they host a fun party for the kids, with parents and grandparents invited to join in the celebration. The curriculum that the teachers use helps us to be insured that our children will be ready for kindergarten – it really helps each child reach their individual goals and fosters a love of learning. The owner is incredibly personable and always quick to address any questions or concerns I have. Plus, they provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks, which makes mornings so much easier. Overall, this daycare has been a fantastic choice for our family!
Thomas BlairJan 29, 2025Have been with the PCG family for almost 3 years of my daughter's life. They are communicative and very responsive to concerns in my experience, which is awesome. Excellent structure and safety protocols. Good balance of teaching/play/creativity. I feel that a crucial part of my child's healthy development is from being enrolled here. They treat her like family. Love it. She loves coming there every day. I highly recommend enrolling here
JORRRNJan 29, 2025Perry County Generation is a top-notch daycare facility that I entrust with my children's care. Their facilities are exceptionally clean and their teachers are highly qualified. The establishment demonstrates a commitment to excellence, ensuring the children have a truly wonderful time.
Mattie BurkeJan 16, 2025All 4 of my children have gone (one still goes!) to PCG Landisburg. My oldest is graduating college, my second oldest is in the Marine Corps, my third is now in High School (distinguished honors), and my youngest is in the Toddler room. Since day one, I have never had to worry that my kids were safe or happy. I know that everyone from the owner on down treats all of the kids as if they are their kids. My 2-year-old can easily count past 10 and knows his alphabet, colors, shapes, you name it. They make learning fun. They also have different events that parents can attend, such as donuts for Father's Day and the like. They have splash day each week in the summer, and the kids play outside as much as is safely possible, weather permitting. They even have a veggie garden that the kids help with, from planting seeds to watering, weeding, and harvesting. I actually drive half an hour out of my way each morning and afternoon to take my youngest to daycare here; that's how much I trust and believe in PCG and the staff. I did see one other review about biting here, and I will say that as a parent, my son was bitten as well. However, Diane and PCG have gone above and beyond to address this very common childhood issue and he was not bitten again. I can appreciate the parents being upset, but it does happen and it has been addressed beyond what I've seen any other daycare do. Towards that end, my oldest two went to four other daycare centers before I found PCG. I cannot recommend this daycare enough.
Jennifer MitchellJul 15, 2024My child got bit 4 times less then a month and they didn't want to do anything to this child. They said they were bringing in resources to accommodate the child when I came back for my child he was in the infant room in stead of the toddler room because "lack of staff" but it was more a punishment because I said I wanted the child terminated and I didn't want him around my son. Potty training decreased as they said that the potty training two year old can hold his blatter for 2 hours and they didn't find it necessary for him to be going more every two hours. The only good thing I can say is they are clean and provide breakfast. Most of the staff is wonderful however still waiting on a call back from the owner from this incident that happened in the middle of the week. I made the decision to pull my child and I hope the other parents of the children who also got bitten do as well

Questions parents ask about PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS
Is PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS holds Pennsylvania certificate 101674701-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Perry County. The current certificate runs to August 21, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on August 18, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 9.
Does this page show inspection results for PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects PERRY COUNTY GENERATIONS's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
