Great team! My kiddo loves it here.
Tyler WislockiMar 27, 2026We love Play and Learn! The Director Mrs. Bernie and the rest of the staff are incredible. They know everyone’s names, are calming and friendly, and are extremely organized. And our son is learning so much and is having so much fun!
Jessica CraftJul 8, 2025We have been sending our baby here since he was 4 months old and couldn’t be happier. The teachers, staff, and director truly care about the kids. It’s evident every time I go in the building and our son knows it too, as he as thrilled every time he gets to be there. P&L is a huge part of our “village” and we are grateful to be a part of their family.
KerriMar 7, 2025Extremely great place to send your child. Ms.T is amazing and all of the teachers are interactive!
Cierra WilliamsSep 13, 2023The director is extremely odd. We had trouble communicating with her, very limited responses if any at all. Teachers constantly screamed at children and each other. I witnessed two teachers cursing at each other in front of the children on the playground. They let children watch tv on an iPad in the classroom. My daughter cried hysterically every morning for a month until we pulled her out. By far one of the worst child care centers I’ve ever been to.

Questions parents ask about PLAY AND LEARN CENTER
Is PLAY AND LEARN CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. PLAY AND LEARN CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 100304484-0003, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Montgomery County. The current certificate runs to May 29, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is PLAY AND LEARN CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates PLAY AND LEARN CENTER STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on August 27, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against PLAY AND LEARN CENTER?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against PLAY AND LEARN CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does PLAY AND LEARN CENTER accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. PLAY AND LEARN CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 17.
Does this page show inspection results for PLAY AND LEARN CENTER?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects PLAY AND LEARN CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
