Recent parent reviews
Check out reviews for Creative Minds. They just changed their name. My child has not attended here for a while but still asks me to go back and tell them that they should be nice to kids 😢 He talks about being yelled at when he did not know how to do something or if he had a potty accident. When they changed their name/ownership they hired back someone who was fired for abusing kids there. That is their character. Do not send your kids here!

Questions parents ask about PLAY Hub
Is PLAY Hub a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. PLAY Hub holds Pennsylvania certificate 104574316-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Franklin County. The current certificate runs to November 18, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is PLAY Hub's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates PLAY Hub STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on December 3, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against PLAY Hub?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against PLAY Hub at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does PLAY Hub accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. PLAY Hub holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 6.
Does this page show inspection results for PLAY Hub?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects PLAY Hub's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
