  • I can’t say enough good things about Precious Steps Daycare . The staff are incredibly caring, patient, and professional. They provide a safe, clean, and nurturing environment where children can learn, explore, and grow. I especially appreciate the variety of activities offered—from arts and crafts to sensory play, story time, and outdoor fun. My child is always engaged and comes home with new skills and excitement about what they learned. Communication is excellent; I always feel updated and supported as a parent. Most importantly, my child loves going every day, which says it all! I highly recommend this center to any family looking for high-quality childcare.

  • I watched them stuff a bunch of little children under 10 years old in a Kia van to take them to school . None were at least 13years of age . 13 years is the legal age limit for a child to sit in front seat . So why did you let one of the kids sit in the front. And like 10 in the back. Not safe for our children

  • Couple months ago my son used to go to this daycare and I had with this place the most horrible experience. the director of this place is the most heartless person u can meet. I have only one son I'm a single mom and my son and I ofcourse live by urself and there was a time the daycare call me at work telling me I had to go pick up my son and I went and pick him up to find out my son got louse and I couldn't believe cause my son barely be around kids it was me and him all the time he only had kids around at the daycare by the way. I went took him to cut all his hair off and return him back to daycare after all the treatments I did to clean him.the time pass and then a mornin I go in and I see this mom talking to the teacher asking her was going on that she had to cut her son hair again cuz she find him louse again.sooo I was like ok now this is weird ,but I stood shut two week pass by and then they call me at work again that my son had louse again and I was really upset cuz i know my baby don't be around no other kids so I know he was getting it from there. I did the process again cut his hair and treatment but this time when I went in the next time to drop him off I was trying to communicate with the owner and trying to explain to him how he gotta talk to the other parents about the situation cuz is not fair how he was blaming it on my son the day I pick him up when my son barely be around kid so the guy got soo rude and at 6 in the morning he ain't touch his heart on a cold winter day he ain't care a bit and kick me and my son out of the daycare and told me find a new one at the time so I left but people please check who u give ur kids too this place is just horrible looks nice but the owner is such an animal smh

  • This is the daycare my boys Age 2 & 4 were going to for 10months. They got in quickly. I expressed my then 1 ur olds struggle with behavior and I brought in a company that would help with his aggression and how to turn it around. To help the parents, the child and the daycare. They were dismissed by the daycare, the review for one day was a good day for my child. Which didn’t help me nor my son. Granted everyone has their own experience and interactions, but at the end of the day what I say would be dismissed. What I request would be taken lightly. These people would have my children 9.5 hours while I worked, almost like a 2nd home because they are there 5 days a week while I worked. The director would always say ”if you don’t trust me and my business, you shouldn’t have your kids here” He would say he would work with me and to give them a chance with my son before bringing in a company they never heard of. My boys would give me a hard time everyday to go in. That says a lot. But because of my work schedule and the convenience of it being on my way to work I would ignore the flags. I tried to keep them there, it’s 2 months shy of a year of them going there. It’s sad. I’m disappointed. I go to pick them up and the director tells me he made a business decision and would not be taking my boys, gave me their stuff and that was that. On a Friday. Careless and cold. But he was there to help, right?

  • Very unprofessional, lack of communication and poor customer service. No one in that place has any credentials or proper training to take care of children. Their STAR rating is 1, which goes by their inspections and the actual state of PA.

Questions parents ask about PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC

Is PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC holds Pennsylvania certificate 102924424-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Lehigh County. The current certificate runs to August 15, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on June 7, 2019. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC accept child care subsidy?

Yes. PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 14.

Does this page show inspection results for PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects PRECIOUS STEPS DAY CARE LLC's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
