  • As first-time parents, choosing a daycare felt like one of the biggest decisions we’ve ever made, and enrolling our son at Primrose Center City was the best choice we could have made. He started in the infants classroom, and from day one the teachers, administrators, and even the owner (who is incredibly hands-on, present almost every day, and somehow knows every child and parent by name!) made the transition completely seamless. As new parents, that level of care and attention meant everything to us. We truly never worry during the day because we know he is safe, supported, and so loved. As a dual-career household, having that trust also gives us the mental space to stay focused at work during the day, which is invaluable. The school’s hours are incredibly helpful for working parents, and the fact that they provide meals and snacks removes so much of the daily mental and physical load of planning and prepping food. They even offer quarterly Parents’ Night Out events, which gives my husband and me a built-in date night (even if that sometimes just means takeout and catching up on chores at home!). Now that he’s moved into the young toddler classroom, we’ve been just as impressed. The transition was thoughtfully handled over time. They gradually introduced him to his new teachers, classroom, and schedule, which made the change feel easy and natural for him (and for us!). It’s been amazing to see how much he’s grown there already. His independence has blossomed, and his communication skills (especially using sign language) have developed so much thanks to the intentional support from his teachers. We recommend Primrose wholeheartedly to any parent looking for a nurturing, structured, and loving environment for their child. Honestly, even if we move to the suburbs someday, we would absolutely drive in just to keep him here. And if we have another child, there’s no question that they’ll be enrolled at Primrose too.

  • We are so happy we chose Primrose for our son’s first daycare. The teachers are caring and attentive, truly catering to each child’s individual needs. The staff and administrators are also wonderful—warm, professional, and always supportive. The location is convenient for parents who work in Center City, which has been a huge plus. We would highly recommend Primrose to any family.

  • We lived in Center City, Philadelphia, for the past year and enrolled our child in Primrose. She had the best time in the school. They learned through play, making school fun. The teachers (even those who weren’t teaching my child) and staff know the children by name. The place is clean and well maintained. The school makes an effort to bring the children out for walks and outdoor play when the weather permits. They do a tour of the school before you decide so I think it’s really helpful for parents who are deciding on the best place for their children.

  • Primrose has been exceptional for our family from day one—literally. Our daughter started here at just 6 weeks old, and the care, attention, and love she has received have been nothing short of amazing. The staff is truly exceptional—every teacher and caregiver creates a warm, nurturing environment where we always felt confident she was safe, happy, and thriving.

  • Primrose has been nothing but exceptional. It is a relief to be able to send my children to a daycare/school all day that you trust. My oldest son is graduating pre-k and I feel as if he is prepared for kindergarten because of Primrose. Thank you Primrose for taking such good care of my babies.

  • My family and I feel honored and blessed to have the privilege of having Primrose part of our village caring for our kids (infant room through pre k). The caring, supportive, loving environment every single person at Primrose has created allows my kids to thrive socially, emotionally, and educationally. The structure Primrose sets encourages kids to find their confidence to learn and be independent. We are more than confident that Primrose is setting the foundation for a strong future. The added bonuses; THE CLEANEST SPACE, yummy food, field trips for the older kids, and knowing your kids are loved as if they were in your home. Selecting Primrose as our daycare has been the best decision we have made.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF CENTER CITY PHILADELPHIA?

Does PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF CENTER CITY PHILADELPHIA accept child care subsidy?

Yes. PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF CENTER CITY PHILADELPHIA holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler. Does this page show inspection results for PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF CENTER CITY PHILADELPHIA?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF CENTER CITY PHILADELPHIA's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
