We loved a different Primrose school for our daughter, and after moving, we assumed we’d love this location too. We were sadly mistaken. This location is shockingly mismanaged, and it’s no longer a surprise they’re not at capacity. We should have heeded the red flags, starting with the inauthentic, overly polished sales pitch. We have a number of grievances but I’ll keep the list brief: staff asking parents without clearances to watch children to meet ratios, inconsistent and unhelpful teachers at drop off time, sugary snacks daily, potty training regressions due to using diapers against our directions, understaffed classrooms that resulted in kids being shuffled around instead of moving up to age appropriate classrooms, and constant negative updates through the app. The owners and director did not respond to our concerns and were continuously condescending and dismissive. The teachers are actually wonderful and caring, but it came to a point where we could not rely on the care we were paying a premium for. The cherry on top was the absolutely unprofessional behavior when we gave our notice. We were saddened to find another daycare, but quickly realized the problem is this particular location and there are much better options in the area.
Emily LatteriMar 2, 2026I was very nervous about sending our first born to daycare. We researched and toured about five schools in the area, but were instantly comforted when we walked into Primrose. From our first tour, Miss Briahna made us feel right at home. When you walk in the door, every staff person greets you by name (even people who aren’t our son’s teachers). It gave me a great deal of comfort that they know every person walking in and out of the building. I receive constant updates and photos throughout the day. They keep me updated on exactly how much of his lunch he ate, if he’s acting like himself and diaper changes throughout the day. He has grown so much academically this year. I’m am constantly amazed by the curriculum and how much he is learning each day.
Megan ClearyNov 28, 2025We have had nothing but amazing experience since enrolling our daughter in the Primrose school of Peter’s Township. Daycare is a difficult transition on its own for a family but finding primrose helped eliminate the stress and worry right away. We were shocked at the drastic difference we observed when visiting other schools and had no doubt that primrose was the only place for us. Their school is always clean, the staff is always welcoming and their curriculum, even for infants, is always purposeful. They also update their app all day long which is AMAZING for any parent to still feel connected through out the day and easily communicate with the teachers. We can tell that all of the staff truly care about our daughter and would highly recommend for any parent looking for a daycare that stands out above the rest !
natalie bOct 29, 2025We have had such a wonderful experience with Primrose preschool for our daughter. The teachers are warm and genuinely care about the children. We really appreciate the fun activities they plan and really like the daily app updates. We are happy we chose this preschool!
Jeffrey RatayOct 3, 2025The top choice for your kids in the area It was hard letting go on the first day but we were reassured from her teacher in toddler 2 and saw how quickly she warmed up to her. The next few weeks she was actually excited to see her teacher and go to school. We love getting the pictures from her classroom of the different activities they are doing throughout the day. Everytime i drop off i know this place is safe and secure i feel at ease
GusSep 23, 2025Primrose School of Peters Township has been transformative in the lives of our children. When our kids started at Primrose, they had speech and language challenges. They had also not spent extensive time in a daycare environment, and our prior experience with a different daycare was not positive. At Primrose, the leadership team was not intimidated or worried about their speech and language needs (which was the case when I interviewed with other schools in the area). At Primrose, our kids have blossomed. The staff has been so caring, nurturing, patient and supportive, from the leadership team to each of the the teachers and assistants. Our kids have made amazing progress with their communication skills, and that is in very large part to engagement with students, staff, and the Primrose curriculum. The communication with the teachers has been great, in person and through their care app. Academically, our kids are performing beyond grade level. Additionally, Primrose has beautiful facilities that are clean and spacious. We love the flexibility of being able to dropoff and pickup within a large window of time. They provide nutritious meals throughout the day. Beyond academics, our kids are learning foundational values to be kind people and good citizens in the community, including community service field trips. The children in their classrooms are well-behaved and look truly happy to be there. Most of all, I feel our children are genuinely loved, and that is so special. I can't say enough good things about Primrose. We love being part of the Primrose family and are so happy we made the decision for our children to attend.

- Yes. PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF PETERS TOWNSHIP holds Pennsylvania certificate 103541043-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Washington County. The current certificate runs to April 1, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF PETERS TOWNSHIP's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF PETERS TOWNSHIP STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on April 24, 2019. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF PETERS TOWNSHIP?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF PETERS TOWNSHIP at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does this page show inspection results for PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF PETERS TOWNSHIP?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF PETERS TOWNSHIP's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
