  • As our son prepares to graduate from preschool at Primrose in Wexford and begin his kindergarten journey, we want to express our sincere gratitude to the incredible teachers and staff who have played such an important role in his early years. From the moment we enrolled, we knew Primrose Wexford was a special place. The caring and nurturing environment gave us peace of mind every day, knowing our son was safe, loved, and encouraged to grow. The teachers consistently went above and beyond to support not only his academic development but also his social, emotional, and personal growth. One of the things we appreciated most from Primrose was the excellent communication and pictures of his day posted on the App. We were always kept informed about his progress, daily activities, and milestones, making us feel like true partners in his learning journey. The curriculum provided the perfect balance of education, creativity, play, and exploration, helping him develop confidence, independence, and a genuine love of learning. My older son attended a different preschool and the contrast in experience was HUGE, with our youngest being much more prepared both academically and socially. The staff created a welcoming atmosphere where every child feels valued and included. Our son formed meaningful friendships, learned important life skills, and built a strong foundation that has prepared him for kindergarten and beyond. Choosing a daycare or preschool is one of the most important decisions parents make, and we could not be happier with our experience at Priimrose. We wholeheartedly recommend Primrose Wexford to any family looking for a safe, nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment for their child. Thank you for helping shape our son into the curious, confident, and kind young boy he is today. We will always be grateful for the memories, lessons, and care you provided during these important early years.

  • Primrose School of Wexford has been a great place for our daughter to start preschool. The facility is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff are attentive and professional. We appreciate the level of communication that we get about our daughter while she's there - multiple updates throughout the day in the Procare app and quick responses to questions about school events and conferences. Our daughter loves her teachers (Ms. Julie & Ms. Pallavi) and the rest of the staff are all very welcoming. We also appreciate their commitment to health/safety - there are multiple security precautions in place to enter the building and classroom sicknesses are promptly communicated to the other parents. One thing that was important to us and stood out from other daycare/preschools that we looked at is the emphasis on providing healthy food choices, which they make fresh daily on site for breakfast & lunch. Packaged snacks are healthy and thoughtful and they celebrate every child by making fresh cupcakes for the class to celebrate birthdays. We couldn't be happier with our decision to choose Primrose and can't wait to have our son attend soon.

  • We truly cannot say enough good things about Primrose. The teachers are nurturing, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s growth and happiness. Our daughter has been in 3 different classrooms and we have had nothing but positive experiences. The leadership staff is organized, warm, and friendly. The communication is excellent, the environment is safe and welcoming, and it’s clear how much thought and care goes into everything they do. Our daughter is excited to go each day, and we’ve seen her learn, grow, and thrive in so many ways. As parents, there is no greater peace of mind than knowing your child is in such capable and caring hands. We are incredibly grateful for the entire staff and highly recommend this daycare to any family looking for exceptional childcare.

  • Our daughter attended Primrose School of Wexford for nearly three years and we were very happy with our experience.  Our family felt welcome from the beginning and our daughter consistently thrived throughout her time there.  We were consistently impressed with how much she learned and noticed the progress she made from the Toddler room, to Early preschool to Pathways to Preschool.  We are so grateful to all of her teachers for taking great care of her and providing a positive learning environment.  It was evident her teachers (in particular Ms. Cierra, Ms. Pallavi, and Ms. Julie) loved teaching and the kids.  In addition, the staff did a great job in keeping the parents involved and provided frequent updates on our daughter's progress.  We especially would like to thank Ms. Heather for always making our family feel welcome and creating a wonderful experience. It was a relief as parents dropping her off every day knowing she was in capable hands.  We definitely recommend Primrose to other families.

  • We joined the Primrose of Wexford community in December 2023, with my older daughter enrolling in Preschool and my younger daughter joining shortly after in the Toddlers classroom. We joined for the well-rounded education, with offerings like painting and music that I just did not have time to create at home. There was also support with emotional development, naptime, and nutrition that I valued and needed as a new mom. I say this all the time, but the teachers and administrators at Primrose are helping me raise my girls—in the best way! Their feelings are heard and respected, their learning and exploration into art and music and dance are encouraged, and their stories and thoughts are genuinely enjoyed. Everyone at Primrose works incredibly hard to create a cohesive learning and growing environment, and I could not be more grateful for the time, support, and love they have given my girls and me over the years. Their support truly makes me a better mom and us a better family, and our lives would be very different if we had not joined Primrose when we did.

  • Primrose Daycare has been absolutely wonderful for our family. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt welcomed, supported, and confident that our child would be in great hands. The staff is warm, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth and happiness. As parents, we couldn’t be more grateful. The communication is fantastic, the routines are well-structured, and the environment feels both safe and nurturing. It’s clear that the teachers love what they do, and it shows in the positive atmosphere they create every day. Most importantly, our daughter is thriving. She’s learning so much, academically, socially, and emotionally. Every week she surprises us with new skills, new words, and new excitement about what she did at school. Seeing her confidence grow has been the biggest gift. We highly recommend Primrose Daycare to any family looking for a place where children are truly valued, encouraged, and cared for. It has exceeded our expectations in every way

Questions parents ask about PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD

Is PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD holds Pennsylvania certificate 103919008-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Allegheny County. The current certificate runs to March 11, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on March 25, 2022. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD accept child care subsidy?

Yes. PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD holds a subsidy agreement with the state. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 5.

Does this page show inspection results for PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects PRIMROSE SCHOOL OF WEXFORD's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
