  • Not the best place around Easton. It's cramped looking and gloomy. Kids are forced to go to sleep with lights turned off in a dark room. My child was bitten one day. No one called to notify me immediately. Skin was broken and it looked pretty painful. I asked what had happened to the manager lady and she said she didn't know at first and then said some kid with anger issues did it.

  • Love rising star. My daughter has been going here a little less than a year at this point. She is a sensitive little one who doesn’t open up or trust many people. All the teachers at Rising Star have taken her in as one of their own. I love how small of a daycare this is. Gives a chance to form real bonds. They are flexible with scheduling, of course with enough notice. While I don’t love that the center doesn’t have cameras, I am able to call and check on her as often as I’d like without it feeling like a burden. I took full advantage of this when she was new to daycare :) I can email the director at any hour and get a response back in a timely manner. So thankful for Rising Star!

  • Great staff. They are flexible and professional. Very creative with projects and teaching. Even my infant seems to learn a bunch!

Questions parents ask about RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER

Is RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 102188590-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Northampton County. The current certificate runs to August 25, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER STAR 3, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on March 27, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 14.

Does this page show inspection results for RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects RISING STAR LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
