I was absolutely blow away with the care my daughter has received during her stay with Rising Stride - Woodlyn as she was preparing to go off to kindergarten this upcoming fall. Her teachers Ms Nikki & Ms Rachel were patient and guiding. I was always kept updated with any information that was needed. My daughter also fell in love with the directors and admin that she would refuse to start or end her day without joining Mr Mike & Ms Heaven in their office just to say hello. I would highly recommend Rising Stride for any child. They will all be very missed!
Rebecca BruderJul 14, 2026Loved this center! My daughter started here when she was two and stayed until starting kindergarten, staff was wonderful and always so pleasant. My daughter loved all her teachers, she learned so much and when going for kindergarten testing the school noted how much she already knew! Would recommend whole heartedly!!
Erin CorsiJun 24, 2026I sent my daughter to rising stride woodlyn at 2 years old, it was her first daycare and I had the best experience. Her teachers were amazing and helped me feel comfortable with sending her to school. The entire staff makes an effort to get to know all of the kids, they all interact well with each other and the kids are a priority. I watched my daughter grow and develop so much from this center and I was so sad when we moved and I had to un-enroll her. I highly recommend this center and the cameras in classroom truly help as a first time parent who was very nervous about daycare lol.
Alexis TurnerAug 28, 2025We love Rising Stride for our son! They’ve been an excellent part of our village. Very flexible, they act as partners and take into account the parent’s feedback about what uniquely works for your child. Our son loved all of his teachers and genuinely enjoyed going to school. It’s so hard to drop your child off at daycare, good partners make it a little easier.
Jessica HermanJul 28, 2025I absolutely LOVE the school my daughter goes to!! The teachers are amazing, staff amazing, and the entire program has been incredible! Rising Stride has taught my daughter many things and continues to do so, and while I am working all day I know and trust that she’s always in very good hands!! My friends and family know how grateful I am for her school, and I would highly recommend Rising Stride to anyone looking for childcare!
Heather HansonMar 21, 2025My two kids have been enrolled at Rising Stride from 2021 - 2025 and have really flourished. I started their enrollment around 10 months old (they accept 3 months and up). I was initially draw to the daycare because of the option to see the kids on camera. As a first time Mom, the camera access helped ease the transition to care and made it tolerable to separate from my children. I built relationships with their teachers over the years and appreciated the daily updates and feedback. Kirsten has taken an excellent lead and has really turned things around for the better. Every time we have a question or concern, she comes up with a fair solution to ensure that the needs of the parents and children are fulfilled. My children are striving from the educational and social experiences at Rising Stride. My 4 year old can count over 100 (and even can count to 30 in Spanish), he is able to read (sounding out basic words) and can write his name and other words clearly. My 2 year old can identify and talk about colors, shapes, animal sounds, letters, numbers, feelings/emotions and more. They are both nurtured and loved by the staff. The daycare upgraded to the Lillio app last year. All of the payments, daily updates, and photos of the kids' activities are found on this app. It streamlines everything and makes it easier for parents. All health updates are included as well. Rising Stride has done a great job of keeping the kids safe throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and continues to send health updates on any colds/infections the kids might have in the classroom. The rooms are sanitized and clean. The teachers and administrators at Rising Stride are hand picked, as educators who truly want to see your children develop and grow. The pre-schoolers have tasty, healthy meal options. The kids get to celebrate holidays, picture day, themed activities and birthdays with their friends. The kids are developing a joy for learning and enjoy the classroom spirit! The kids get to go outside on walks, play in the sprinkler in the summer, and play on the safe and enclosed playground during good weather. Originally, I considered paying a lot of money for a Montessori education. However, I can honestly say I am grateful the kids got to experience a wider diversity of people and activities during their time at Rising Stride. The hours of operation are 7am-6pm currently and they have several affordable options for families. I am overall very happy about the years we have enrolled here at Rising Stride (formally known as The Discovery Tree). Thank you for making our family's experience a positive one!
