  • As a mom who is very picky and protective of my children! This school exceeded my expectations. They’re wonderful! My twins love it here, one of them is nonverbal and the teachers / assistants they’re amazing with them. Even Ms.Lynn the director is involved which is amazing! She’s always making sure everything is okay and helps with the children. It’s really amazing to see a director so involved!! I really love it here, I can leave my kiddos here and not worry because they’re in good hands. Ms.Liza!!! Oh I love her!!! The assistants I love them!!! With my special needs child they are so caring and loving towards her. They get excited when she achieves one of her milestones. I went to pick her up and saw she was hugging the teachers assistant and my daughter only does that with people she feels safe. My daughter who is special needs now loves other children, loves to engage, and even learned songs through the school, she now knows how to stop and freeze! She’s doing so many things she did not know. I’m so glad I enrolled her and didn’t let the fear get in the way. Her twin sister who isn’t special needs loves it here as well. She sings allllll of the music Ms.Liza sings and she makes it very catchy for the kiddos. She’s always talking about the school and her friends. I have seen so much progress with my daughters. I do not regret putting them here. 🤍

  • I have absolutely had the best experience with Rising Sun Learning Center. My daughter started at about 2 and half and the care that’s has been provided from day one has been so comforting. If you’re looking for that family oriented, diverse, and loving care, this place is it. She started with Ms. Veronica whom was amazing ( but no longer there). And now has transitioned to preschool with Ms. Liza which she followed with such amazing care. It’s just a blessing to have such an awesome transition because they can be difficult at times. But Ms Liza did an amazing job with helping my child and myself transition so easily. She had her cognitive appt with her pediatrician and he was so amazed at where she was with writing, and pronunciation and I cannot take full credit. The amount of time and patience they put in to each individual student with tracing and learning their shapes colors numbers etc is mind blowing. She spells and writes her name independently. I will definitely recommend to take your child.

  • I am a mother of a special needs child and my son’s teacher Liza, and the team she has in her class treats him very well. My son loves to go to school and he’s learned so much since being in this school. Liza has advocated for my baby as if he was her own and I am forever grateful for her. It’s a feeling of ease and comfort to know that you are leaving your child in the care of people who will treat them like your own. I’m happy my child is able to complete his pre-k years at this school. He’s moving on the kindergarten soon and I pray they love my baby just as the team at this school has. The director Lynn is approachable and very involved with the education and care provided. I definitely would recommend this school.

  • My son attended this center from 3 years old to 5 years old it was the best decision I've ever made signing him up. I met with Ms. Lynn, which is the director and Ms. Liza who eneded up being his teacher throughout his time there prior filling out the paper to feel out the center. My son become a social butterfly that is still flourishing in kindergarten now. They taught him so much even helped him with trying different healthy foods. This is a hands on facility and the teachers care, which was my number one thing I needed to allow him to leave the nest

  • My eldest daughter attended this school, and I was impressed with the exceptional care she received, prompting me to enroll my other three daughters as well. The teacher, Mrs. Liza, and numerous other instructors are highly respected and demonstrate a genuine affection for our children. I feel fortunate to have established open communication with each of them. They adapt to the unique needs of each child and maintain ongoing communication regarding their progress throughout their academic tenure. Please continue your outstanding work, ladies.

Does RISING SUN CHILDRENS CENTER accept child care subsidy?

Yes. RISING SUN CHILDRENS CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
