  • Small Town Hope is a wonderful daycare and preschool! My daughter started attending at 6 months old and just graduated from their preschool program. The staff and teachers are caring, flexible, and understanding. Both of my children feel truly loved there and we love the staff! They have really become a part of our family.

  • Small Town Hope is the best. I'd recommend the daycare and the preschool to anyone. As a working Mom, I was nervous to send my kids anywhere. But they are thriving! It is a safe and fun place for kids to learn, be creative, and make friends.

  • All 3 of our children attended preschool at Small Town Hope. The teachers and staff are fantastic! They truly care about the kids and work very hard to make sure they ready for kindergarten.

  • My son attended the Pre-K program at Hope's this year and absolutely loved it. He loved getting up in the morning to go to school, he felt comfortable and talked about all of his teachers every day. The communication is great, they send info/updates, reminders, and photos of the kids during the day. I plan to send my other two children there as well when they are of age. They are so caring and trustworthy, I never questioned or worried when leaving him in their care! The whole team is amazing and I can't recommend them enough.

  • The staff at Small Town Hope are exceptional! They truly treat the kids like they are their own with only the best intentions always! They are very kind-hearted, helpful, understanding, and just amazing! There really aren’t enough good things to say about them! Communication is always open and they incorporate lots of engaging activities with photos to make your momma hearts happy throughout the day when you’re missing your little ones! Both of my kids attended this year and my youngest will be returning next year, too! If you’re considering sending your little one to Small Town Hope for preschool, I can assure you it is the right choice! Nothing but love for those ladies and all they do for the kids!😊

  • We absolutely LOVE Small Town Hope!!❤️ Can’t say enough great things about the incredible staff and atmosphere they provided for my two kiddos! My oldest attended 2 years of Preschool and the teachers were phenomenal. They did so well with him and prepared him for kindergarten! Forever grateful to them for that! We also sent both of our kids to the daycare program, as well. I rested easy at night knowing my two kiddos were in great hands. ❤️ They treated them like their own and as a mom that means more to me than anything!

Questions parents ask about SMALL TOWN HOPE

Is SMALL TOWN HOPE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. SMALL TOWN HOPE holds Pennsylvania certificate 103435695-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Cambria County. The current certificate runs to April 26, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is SMALL TOWN HOPE's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates SMALL TOWN HOPE STAR 3, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on February 7, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against SMALL TOWN HOPE?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against SMALL TOWN HOPE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does SMALL TOWN HOPE accept child care subsidy?

Yes. SMALL TOWN HOPE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 6.

Does this page show inspection results for SMALL TOWN HOPE?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects SMALL TOWN HOPE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
