I see the owner tried to gather me but thats why I had to make it clear that I was speaking from my experience ONLY!! When I signed up they only had one star. I also forgot to note that the school my son attends told me that EVERY parent has issues with this place. So again... RATCHET. I said what I said.
loren lasterJul 10, 2019This daycare is the worst today I went to pickup my grandchild and some lady I assume is the teacher there. She told my daughter not to pick up my grandchild that she needs to put her down. How dare she tell someone not to pick up a child she’s only 3 years old she’s still considered a baby. My granddaughter was so happy to see me. I strongly believe that this lady yells at my grandchild because my granddaughter looked scared and also I saw they she had a change of pants. They let my grandchild wet herself. This daycare smells awful and it’s way too small for these kids. If I had the authority to pull my grandchild out of there I would. This place really sucks. The people are very rude especially the teacher she was pulling on my daughters arm and on my granddaughters arm. It’s illegal to put your hands on anyone.
Nelly IglesiasJul 23, 2018I live in Collingdale and decided to call and inquire about this daycares website to get more information about hours and pricing. I was ecstatic to learn this was a 24hour facility. I called and Rihanna answered the phone. I asked if they had a website which I knew they did as I saw it posted on the building but couldn’t recall the exact address. Rihanna yells to someone “Do we got a website!?” They say yes and then says to me “yeah”. I say “can I have the address?”. She says “here.” She hands the phone to someone else as if my question was too much for her. I then told whoever was then on the phone that I simply wanted a web address and at this point I’d rather not. Just the lack of professionalism and phone etiquette was enough for me to look elsewhere.
FayeApr 23, 2018They never minding their business always worry about people and what they do with their life. They be eaten kids food they bring from home. Talk about the parents but not to lie their are some co workers that are great people
Mizz CANDYBOODec 10, 2017The mildest word I can use to describe this place is RATCHET. Now I see why they only have 1 keystone star. It's too small and the kids are always running around everywhere. They make you feel like you are burdening them when in reality they are lazy and dont feel like doing anything. Children is not a passion, they are all about the paycheck. And they are not available according to the times listed. Please don't waste your time.
Loren LasterOct 6, 2017Worst daycare ever! My nephew went here until 3 weeks ago. Within the past 5 months he has come home with different bruises! He got bit twice from another kid. They are not watching the older kids around him. My nephew is only year & a half old. He also came home with a black eye & what took the cake is when he fell down the steps. The lady claims she was holding his hand. Well how did he fall then. I have pictures of the bruises.

- Yes. SMART CHOICE CHILDCARE LEARNING CENTER holds Pennsylvania certificate 102893159-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Delaware County. The current certificate runs to June 6, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is SMART CHOICE CHILDCARE LEARNING CENTER's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates SMART CHOICE CHILDCARE LEARNING CENTER STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on February 26, 2021. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against SMART CHOICE CHILDCARE LEARNING CENTER?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against SMART CHOICE CHILDCARE LEARNING CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does SMART CHOICE CHILDCARE LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. SMART CHOICE CHILDCARE LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.
Does this page show inspection results for SMART CHOICE CHILDCARE LEARNING CENTER?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects SMART CHOICE CHILDCARE LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
