  • I have a 3 year old daughter that goes here and we both love it! My daughter learns so much and has progressively learned over the couple months she been there. It’s very clean the staff are organized and respectful. They treat the kids like their own. They have spirit week, and go to the park! This is the best daycare to place your kids and trust they are in good hands!

  • My experience with this childcare service was absolutely horrendous. The owner was extremely unprofessional and completely disorganized. When I first enrolled my child, I explained that my specialist would be coming out to provide services. She initially said that wouldn’t be a problem, but then gave the specialist constant runaround. Things started to feel off because she was oddly insistent about the specialist only coming at specific times even after I explained that the service had to be done when the children were awake, not during nap time. It came across as if she was trying to hide something, which raised a huge red flag for me as a parent. I tried to have a calm discussion with her multiple times, but she continued to be defensive and dismissive, bragging about how many years she’s been in business which honestly made her behavior even more shocking. She later texted me in a completely inappropriate and disrespectful manner that had nothing to do with childcare at all. After deciding to pull my child out of the program, I tried to retrieve my child’s belongings and she flat-out refused to answer or allow me to pick them up. That was the final straw. In my opinion, parents should steer clear of this place. The entire experience was unprofessional, uncomfortable, and full of red flags. It truly felt like she didn’t want anyone to see what was going on there, and that’s not something I’d ever risk with my child. In response to the owners comment : This was addressed directly to you as the owner. I also have proof of the text messages and can post them publicly on Google if needed so there’s no confusion about what occurred. For your awareness, your communication throughout this situation was extremely rude and unprofessional

Questions parents ask about SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC

Is SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC holds Pennsylvania certificate 104441614-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to July 7, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on July 10, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC accept child care subsidy?

Yes. SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.

Does this page show inspection results for SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects SMART ONES DAYCARE LLC's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
