  • This daycare has been an amazing experience for my son and our family. The staff is caring, attentive, and always makes the children feel safe and loved. I’ve seen so much growth in my son’s confidence, learning, and social skills since attending. Communication with parents is great, and I always feel at peace knowing he is in good hands. I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a nurturing and trustworthy environment for their child.

  • I highly recommend Sophia’s Daycare! I love the fact that it’s smaller group which means the kids get really great care and attention from staff. It’s very clean , with a nice playground in the back for the little ones! Staff are very professional and friendly, my son loves it! I can definitely tell that he’s comfortable there and well taken care of.

We've seen incredible development in our daughter's social skills and creativity thanks to their engaging, age-appropriate activities. Questions parents ask about SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE

Is SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE holds Pennsylvania certificate 104491797-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Lehigh County. The current certificate runs to August 7, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on August 15, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE accept child care subsidy?

Yes. SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 14.

Does this page show inspection results for SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects SOPHIAS FAMILY DAYCARE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
