  • Wonderful Staff. Clean Environment. We stayed with them after preschool graduation and began afterschool care services with them because we trust them with the children.

Questions parents ask about STEPPING STONE LEARNING

Is STEPPING STONE LEARNING a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. STEPPING STONE LEARNING holds Pennsylvania certificate 102498449-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to December 3, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is STEPPING STONE LEARNING's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates STEPPING STONE LEARNING STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on April 13, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against STEPPING STONE LEARNING?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against STEPPING STONE LEARNING at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does STEPPING STONE LEARNING accept child care subsidy?

Yes. STEPPING STONE LEARNING holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.

Does this page show inspection results for STEPPING STONE LEARNING?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects STEPPING STONE LEARNING's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
