  • We love mrs angie mrs erin ms Julie! Honestly though my son loves it here. Everytime we pass his school he literally cries he wants to go. They actually play and interact with all the kids. We will be sad the day we have to leave. Thank goodness that’s not for a few years ❤️

  • My son whom is 4 currently attends this facility. He has been going here for close to two years now. I am very pleased with the communication I receive. Not only do I get to speak to his teachers daily, but I also receive a daily email after I pick him up that recaps his day. It let's me know what he ate for breakfast, lunch and snacks as well as how much he ate. It also notifys me me how long of a nap he took. The best part is reading what he did throughout the day. I get to know what book they read as a class and what class chore he was assigned to. I feel as if I were there with him. He absolutely loves it when I ask him questions about his day relevant to the email I received. He says "mom how do you know I was line leader?" In such amazement! His previous daycare/preschool wasn't as thorough and not as great with communication. His teachers are very kind and compassionate. I know that through talking to them as well as watching them interact with other children. They really do treat them as if they were their own. They give me recommendations if there is ever any kind of concern. They are very qualified certifiably. In the summer the kids have a blast going outside to play, especially when they have water day once a week! My son loves it when they wet the slide down and he gets to go "shooting down" as he says. They are very well fed there with nutritiously catered food. The menu is very very nutritional containing of plenty of fruits and vegetables DAILY , their cereals and pastas are whole grain. They serve milk and water with every meal. Sometimes I wish I were there for lunch! They have wonderful seasonal events for the children and families. They make sure their holidays are culturally acceptable to all families. I really cant say enough about this place. They are great. They make me feel at ease as a single mom with no family here in Pennsylvania. My son is happy here. He will be going to Kindergarten in the Fall but will still be here for before and after school. Also I forgot to address safety. It is an insanely safe place! You can't even enter the building without a customized code that was made directly for you. When you enter you must check in with staff and if you aren't whomever who usually picks up the child you will be asked for identification and then be verified by a phone call to the parent or by different means (whatever parent provided) my son's father tried to pick up my son one day and even though the staff knew who he was they called me to ask if he was supposed to pick our son up. I said no I did not give him any permission to do so but to let my son go with him anyways. I was super happy that they called me to let me know and for approval .That is very very VERY important to me. Now about the curriculum. The curriculum is fantastic. They go by the state standards for a level (if there for preschool) if your child is there for after school daycare I've seen the teachers have the students eat a snack and work on their homework. It is a very educational facility. That is another reason I chose this place for my child. I wanted to pick a place that would thoroughly prepare him for Kindergarten. And that he is. He is more than ready to start in the Fall. If you are considering Tender Care I would say 100% go for it. You will NOT find a better, more safe, more educational, and more compassionate place for your children.

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
