  • My nieces love it here. Their eyes light up, and they are full of smiles when we talk about their friends and teachers.

  • The Child Development Center of Bethlehem is an absolute gem — my cousins always come home smiling and full of stories about their day. The staff are warm, attentive, and clearly passionate about early childhood development; they balance fun, creative activities with thoughtful learning opportunities. The facility is bright, clean, and well-organized, and I appreciate the clear communication and individualized attention each child receives. Highly recommend this center to any family looking for a safe, nurturing, and engaging place for their little ones.

  • This is definitely the best daycare in the area. Both of my sisters go here and they are well taken care of.

  • I have called this place several times in the last two years - NEVER are my calls answered or returned. Never, ever, ever.

  • I wish I had good things to say about this center, but unfortunately I was met with disrespect, lack of communication, and ever changing staff. The phones are never answered and the doorbell “isn’t heard” when my child went there It was a struggle just to get him dropped off and picked up daily. Most days I waited 5+ minutes with no response sometimes closer to 10-15 minutes! Whe you try to address real issue, instead your meet with “policies” that need to be corrected in the first place! If that wasn’t the issue, my son had like 3 new teachers in a year! That’s not consistent nor good for a child’s education. I have heard better about the Easton location, but this was a year ago so hopefully they’re since moved on to better directors with higher morals

  • The absolute best. My kids were in a prior daycare that was trash. So of course as a momma bear I was super nervous to start all over. Well let me tell you. These past almost 5 years have been AMAZING. My girls 6yrs and 10yrs old have became family. The owner Karlena is more than understanding and willing to take pride in her centers. My girls never want to leave when it’s time to go home lol. I have nothing but positive and amazing experiences and can’t thank each and everyone who is taking part on loving on my babies and keeping them safe. Thank you Karlena for loving my babies and always quick to respond when I contact you.

Does THE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER OF BETHLEHEM accept child care subsidy?

Yes. THE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER OF BETHLEHEM holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 14.

Does this page show inspection results for THE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER OF BETHLEHEM?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects THE CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER OF BETHLEHEM's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
