  • Great experience - love the teachers !

  • Great school filled with teachers who love their job! It’s a bit pricey but it’s worth it This place keeps the children active with activities from arts and crafts, bike riding, moon bounce, cooking and water play. Cleanliness: The rooms are clean and I have seen the workers follow protocol when it comes to sanitation. I was reluctant to send my child to daycare but the Children Academy staff made me quite comfortable.

Questions parents ask about THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY

Is THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY holds Pennsylvania certificate 103285050-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Delaware County. The current certificate runs to October 25, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY STAR 1, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on October 23, 2019. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY accept child care subsidy?

Yes. THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.

Does this page show inspection results for THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects THE CHILDRENS ACADEMY's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
