  • This is the best daycare for working parents! My kids attended this daycare for 5 years, had amazing learning experiences, and loved their time there. The teachers loved the kids, and all our teachers were very good at providing nurturing environments and communicating with parents. Also, there is a get well room in the center where an amazing nurse took care of the kids when they have mild to moderate symptoms, and my kids loved going to the get well room. Thanks to the get well room, we didn’t have to miss work days much while kids have time to relax and recover. Since we moved to a different city, we realized how special this daycare was because we could not find a place like this!

  • I want to start out by saying this is the BEST daycare my son has been to! He has been to a few different places and he didn’t thrive like he does here! He’s only been in school here for almost a month and he has learned soooooooo much! He is talking so much more (Saying please when asking for something and thank you when he gets something and so much more already!) He is also picking up amazing habits from school and bring them home! I am beyond proud of my son and the school itself and the amazing teachers they have! I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking! AMAZING!

  • I WILL NO LONGER SEND MY CHILD TO THE CHILDREN’S CENTER OF PITTSBURGH Throughout my daughter’s time in their care there were several issues. Including, I witnessed other children injured and sick children were not given the proper care even when they presented with symptoms of illness (fever, runny nose, cough, and extreme uncomfort.) I have heard similar complaints from other parents. We as parents, are entrusting The Children’s Center to give our child the utmost care. When in actuality, our child is given subpar care. I am writing this review to give parents a better idea of what happens at the center. My advice is to use caution when sending your child here. Be very observant of the care your child is in and keep an eye out for symptoms that may present of illness and/or injury. I hope this helps other parents make the best decision possible for the safety of their child.

  • They take excellent care of our children here. We have been attending this daycare for 4 years and we have been on multiple classes with multiple teachers and they’re all excellent. I’m very surprised by the bad reviews.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against The Childrens Center of Pittsburgh?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against The Childrens Center of Pittsburgh at the time the record was published. Does The Childrens Center of Pittsburgh accept child care subsidy?

Yes. The Childrens Center of Pittsburgh holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 5.

Does this page show inspection results for The Childrens Center of Pittsburgh?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects The Childrens Center of Pittsburgh's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
