As a parent, finding a daycare you can fully trust is priceless—and that’s exactly what we found here. The staff is warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s development. My child comes home happy, confident, and always excited to return the next day. The curriculum is thoughtfully planned, and I love the regular updates and photos I receive. It’s more than just childcare—it’s a nurturing environment that feels like a second home. I can’t recommend this daycare enough!

Scyita Smith GodfreyMay 12, 2025MY CHILDREN LOVE IT HERE!!! I highly recommend their care.
Lynn WoodsApr 10, 2025The Children's learning is a wonderful daycare and Pre-K. My son attended the school last year and his creativity and social skills were really groomed. He is a different child because if the school and I recommend sending your child because they have wonderful teachers and the staff is very friendly!
Nydeah BrownJul 3, 2018This is a good educational setting for the children. My niece goes here & on her first day she blended very well with the other children. The teachers were welcoming and greet her every morning. They have teachers who have credentials & are certified to give the children the best education possible. Each & every day they learn something new. I’ve seen the children progress so much as well as my niece-especially with her social skills. I would definitely recommend this place for your children. I’m very impressed with the learning progress.
Kiana JacksonMar 28, 2018School is so unorganized and dreadful. My son came home with a busted lip, bloody nose and crying saying he was being bullied. I had to go and talk to the teachers and directors multiple times and got a bunch of "idk" or "oh really" answers. Not to mention they switch my sons teacher in the middle of the year with out informing the parents. She had no idea of who was a parent to what kids, the students (4 and 5yr olds) had to tell her. I had never met her. The cleaning lady subs from Time to time. They scheduled a trip without informing the parents and wanted me to sign a permission slip the same morning but could give me any info on the trip other than where they were going. They didn't even have chaperones. I'm calling and reporting them and pulling my child out!

Questions parents ask about THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE
Is THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE holds Pennsylvania certificate 102829819-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Philadelphia County. The current certificate runs to September 18, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on August 8, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 18.
Does this page show inspection results for THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects THE CHILDRENS LEARNING INSTITUTE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
