Favoritism, unprofessional behavior. Don’t look the other way. Ever since new management, things are less than good here. Let me elaborate. Bonnie used to keep things balanced there. however, when she left, two very specific employees became unchained. My daughter came home almost every day, telling me how “we did tie die today, and everyone was supposed to get 4 colors, but Ms M only gave me 2?!” Or the same scenario with art projects. “I wasn’t allowed to get my water because we had to keep playing freeze tag, even though I felt hot and light headed.” It is unacceptable for adults, who should be the mature, exemplary figures, leading by example, to behave like brats. I am SO GLAD my daughter is done there. Believe me, this review is well earned. These were not single or occasional experiences. My daughter attended this “school” long enough, you be assured that this pattern has earned the review I’m leaving.

My husband and I are so grateful we switched our daughter to Goddard in Morgantown when we moved. We were nervous about switching daycares a few months ago, but the transition went beyond anything we could have expected or hoped for. Our daughter took to her teachers and classmates right away and showed signs of being very comfortable there from the start, which is amazing for her since she is pretty shy. Every teacher and staff member I speak to has always been very friendly and it’s clear everyone loves their job. I’ve also been so impressed with the way the lessons are planned in order to foster growth that’s appropriate for the different age groups. My daughter is in the middle of potty training and it’s a big plus that they have bathrooms inside each classroom with smaller toilets so the kids feel comfortable. Having the app to see what my child did and ate each day is really nice too. I can’t say enough good things about this daycare!

We have been a part of The Goddard School family since 2019 with both of our girls, and it has truly been an incredible experience from day one. The teachers and staff are warm, caring, and dedicated—they genuinely treat each child as their own. Our girls have grown so much socially, emotionally, and academically thanks to the nurturing environment and thoughtful curriculum. The communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel informed and involved in what our children are learning each day. The school does a wonderful job of balancing fun, creativity, and structure, which has helped our girls build confidence and a real love of learning. We’re so grateful for the positive foundation Goddard has provided for our family over the years. It’s so much more than a school—it’s a community. Highly recommend!

This is my daughter’s second year at Goddard and my husband and I are consistently impressed with the staff, curriculum, and facility overall. My daughter has formed such a special relationship with her teacher and peers, and is always excited to come home and tell us who she spent time with. She truly looks forward to going to school every day, and it’s priceless to know that she is somewhere safe and nurturing. I am also consistently impressed with how neat and clean the school and classrooms are kept.

We have had 2 children in the Goddard School of Morgantown. At one point we left and tried something more convenient for our second child based on location but convenience does not outweigh the care that we have received at Goddard and therefore we came back for our second child. I absolutely love this daycare and would recommend to anyone seeking quality care and education. From the office staff to the teachers, you really can’t get any better!
