The Learning Experience in Ephrata is such an impressive space! The facility is bright, clean, welcoming, and clearly designed with kids in mind. The director is warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about creating a great environment for children and families. The staff is friendly and engaged, and you can tell there’s a lot of thought and care behind everything they do. I was especially impressed by the curriculum and the focus on real early education, not just childcare. It really feels like a place that stands out from other daycare options in the area. Such a wonderful addition to the Ephrata community!
Alina TAug 12, 2026This daycare is truly the best. They went out of their way to welcome my daughter. The teachers are all so great with her. It's so hard to find a place to trust but I felt at home right away. The facility is so clean and well thought out and the director has been so easy to communicate with. I'm so happy we found this place!
Polina VaynblatAug 11, 2026We have had an excellent experience at Learning experience Ephrata . The staff and director are wonderful—caring, professional, and truly dedicated to the children. The overall experience has been exceptional, and we highly recommend Learning Experience to any family looking for a warm, nurturing, and engaging environment for their child.

Shane SwavelyJul 30, 2026Five stars! This daycare truly goes above and beyond for children and families. The entire staff shows genuine love, support, and care for the children. There is a strong focus on interaction, play, learning, and creating a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Communication from the teachers and leadership team has been phenomenal. I can drop my child off each day knowing he is safe, cared for, nurtured, and loved. It gives me such peace of mind while I’m at work, and I’m grateful to have found a place where my family feels supported and valued.

Questions parents ask about THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE
Is THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE holds Pennsylvania certificate 104645490-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Lancaster County. The current certificate runs to November 27, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania publishes no Keystone STARS tier for THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE. Keystone STARS is voluntary, so a provider with no tier has not taken part rather than been judged. Licensing and STARS are separate: a provider without a tier is still certified and still inspected.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 10.
Does this page show inspection results for THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects THE LEARNING EXPERIENCE's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
