  • The staff is organized, helpful, professional and kind. Everyone is easy-going. If you have a question, they have an answer. If you care about children and what their future will be, there's a place for you.

  • Worker is way too rough with the kids at the one in. Northern Cambria. Talk to your kids if your kids go there. Seen different workers grab and throw kids to the ground on several different occasions at the playground. If they do this outside what are they doing inside? (I don't have a kid here and don't know anyone who does. I work near bye and seen this happen first hand and have talk to proper people about it).

  • We absolutely love the Learning Lamp Connellsville Location for our one year old son. He has grown and learned so much from his teachers and other students. We are provided with so much communication throughout the day via their app and appreciate knowing how his day is going, what and how much he eats, length of naps, diaper changes..etc. All of the staff are so professional and great with the kids. It’s such a relief knowing he is loved and cared for while we are at work. This center is highly recommended!

  • Both of my daughters have gone to the Learning Lamp and I also taught Preschool for two years. They have one of the best programs around. The staff are professional, polite, and positive. The 3 P's are important to our family. We also donated a good bit of money for the playground to be fixed. They didn't get to it this year, so I hope they do next year. It is in poor condition. And could use some work. So if others can help out too, then maybe we can get this accomplished.

  • Connellsville Learning Lamp is a wonderful addition to our community. I have had my son at the daycare since he was 15 months old. Miss Abby and Miss Erica are wonderful teachers who care and make a huge impact in how the children learn and grow! They document everything and use a program to send pictures daily!

Questions parents ask about THE LEARNING LAMP

Is THE LEARNING LAMP a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. THE LEARNING LAMP holds Pennsylvania certificate 101345169-0036, listed as "LISTED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Cambria County. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is THE LEARNING LAMP's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania publishes no Keystone STARS tier for THE LEARNING LAMP. Keystone STARS is voluntary, so a provider with no tier has not taken part rather than been judged. Licensing and STARS are separate: a provider without a tier is still certified and still inspected.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against THE LEARNING LAMP?

Pennsylvania does not report on this for THE LEARNING LAMP. The sanction field is marked "N/A" in the state's dataset, which is not the same as a recorded "No". Look the provider up at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch for its licensing record.

Does this page show inspection results for THE LEARNING LAMP?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects THE LEARNING LAMP's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
