Editing to add since they replied: on February 20th is the day that only 2 bottles were given. We sent baby in w 4 bottles and received 2 full ones back after receiving no app updates all day. We reached out to the school via the app upon noticing he was only fed twice when he shouldve been fed FOUR fimes in that period. Ultimately locked our decision in to transfer elsewhere. Screenshots included. Original: We pulled our baby out after 2 months. First day in their care he ended up in the ER because they gave a 4 month old 5 oz of water. Gave us a $60 credit and was rather dismissive about the situation. We just received a hospital bill for over $4k but thankful for the $60 credit issued and the “oops sorry”, I suppose. We should’ve pulled him out then but we were hopeful moving forward there wouldnt be more issues. We were naive. Worker still is there, just in a different room. There were no consequences . High turnover rate with staff . The main infant room teacher is good but when she’s not there, there is ALWAYS an issue . Last straw was only feeding our baby 2 times in 8.5-9 hours when he’s supposed to typically get 4 bottles in that time period . We didnt get app updates the whole day. At pickup no one could tell us when he last ate, slept, or got changed was. He was scream crying from being hungry and exhausted. Again, main teacher wasnt here that day. Hopefully others have a different experience than we did but this was ours. This isnt even all of the things I could name that occured but we gave them a few chances to get it right when they should’ve only had one .
Marissa MarieMar 6, 2026Initially I thought that the Madden School was a Montessori based program..😍👊😁💯👍....Ms. Yvette, such a blessing working with you. Thank you for accepting us into the Madden School Family. I chose The Madden School for summer camp, as stated by my child everyday during pick up "I'm cutting into the fun"😍😁🥰.... SashaAug 19, 2025We couldn't be happier with The Madden School. The staff truly feels like an extension of our family, and the love and care they provide is outstanding. We've seen so much positive growth and development in our daughter since she started. It's an incredible feeling to drop her off knowing she's in a safe, nurturing, and loving environment. We highly recommend them to any family looking for top-notch care!
Elijah CurgesAug 8, 2025The difference I see in my daughter compared to the other daycares she’s attended is unmatched! Her vocabulary is impressive and she is actually excited to go to school ! This is more than a daycare the way the kids learn and interact on a higher level it’s more of a school. Ms Madden runs a very family oriented tight ship and am blessed to have both my children attend the Madden school !
Mont MccloudDec 12, 2024I am very happy and satisfied with the care and educational experience my daughter is receiving at Madden School. Since day one they’ve always had a clean facility, when her dad picks her up in the afternoon she’s always in good spirits and looking well taken care of. I love the spirit weeks they have for holidays, and all the activities that the children get into. I can say it’s been a great experience overall. I thank all the teachers and their director Ms. Yvette for all they do for all of our children, it is much appreciated.

Questions parents ask about THE MADDEN SCHOOL
Is THE MADDEN SCHOOL a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?
- Yes. THE MADDEN SCHOOL holds Pennsylvania certificate 104214438-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Montgomery County. The current certificate runs to August 31, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.
What is THE MADDEN SCHOOL's Keystone STARS rating?
- Pennsylvania rates THE MADDEN SCHOOL STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on May 27, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against THE MADDEN SCHOOL?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against THE MADDEN SCHOOL at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does THE MADDEN SCHOOL accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. THE MADDEN SCHOOL holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 17.
Does this page show inspection results for THE MADDEN SCHOOL?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects THE MADDEN SCHOOL's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
