Evette helped me with utility assistance and was very kind and patient. I would recommend anyone go see her, it means everything to be met with compassion and understanding during difficult times!

RebeccaApr 29, 2026I had a wonderful experience with this women and children’s shelter. It’s truly inspiring to see how much they care about the community and the support they provide to families in need. I had the opportunity to participate in their Halloween trunk-or-treat event, and it was such a beautiful experience. The joy on the children’s faces, the sense of safety, and the love that filled the space really stood out to me. It’s clear that this organization goes above and beyond to create positive, meaningful moments for the families they serve. I also want to give a special thank you to Evette quinones , who did an amazing job coordinating the event. Everything was organized so well, and her dedication really showed. I’m grateful to have been a part of something so special, and I highly recommend supporting this shelter. They are making a real difference.

Talasia TrotmanApr 27, 2026I cannot thank 3rd Street alliance Rapid rehousing program enough for all the help they gave us to secure a place to live. Special mention has to go out to Christine and Yasmin. These ladies worked very hard to get us off the streets permanently. Even working on their own time. If something works for the homeless this is definitely the program to utilize. Between funding, kindness, care, respect and lots of hard work their program really works.we have nothing but gratitude and good things to say about their organization. Our thanks is overwhelming to you for helping those who need it. Terry & Carol
Terry SchewApr 27, 2026I am extremely grateful for the support I received from Third Street Alliance through their Housing Stability Program. I applied for financial assistance when I needed help with an unexpected auto repair, and the process was handled with care and professionalism. Christine was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, compassionate, and incredibly supportive. She took the time to walk me through every step of the process, answered all of my questions, and made sure I understood my options. Because of her help and this program, I was able to get the necessary repairs completed on my car. She also assisted me with receiving a grocery card, which was an additional blessing during a stressful time. This program is truly needed in the community and makes a real difference in people’s lives. Thank you to Christine and the entire Third Street Alliance team for all that you do to support individuals and families in need.

Does THIRD STREET ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN CHILDREN accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. THIRD STREET ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN CHILDREN holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. Does this page show inspection results for THIRD STREET ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN CHILDREN?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects THIRD STREET ALLIANCE FOR WOMEN CHILDREN's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
