  • Both of my kids went here from close to new born until Kindergarten. Both are doing very well in grade school and I could not recommend more highly.

  • This was the best daycare experience my family has had in the 8 years we have been using them. Linda and her staff are very friendly and accommodating. They are always engaging the children, not on their cell phones, etc. The daycare was clean and they provided healthy snacks. The price for the quality care was extremely reasonable.

Questions parents ask about TLC FOR KIDS

Is TLC FOR KIDS a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. TLC FOR KIDS holds Pennsylvania certificate 102806814-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Allegheny County. The current certificate runs to June 27, 2027. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is TLC FOR KIDS's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates TLC FOR KIDS STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on December 23, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against TLC FOR KIDS?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against TLC FOR KIDS at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does TLC FOR KIDS accept child care subsidy?

Yes. TLC FOR KIDS holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 5.

Does this page show inspection results for TLC FOR KIDS?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects TLC FOR KIDS's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
