My daughter has been going here since she was 5 months (now 2 years old) and the staff has done everything to be supportive with her growth and development. They push her to be her best and it shows at home. She knows her alphabet, colors and we are working on numbers and potty training. The staff has always been pleasant and whenever a problem occurred I was notified or it was addressed. Location: Lansdowne site
Brittany BrownJan 7, 2025Today’s Child is a great program. It’s been a lifesaver as a full time working Mom. My son just loves going there every morning and Afternoon and the staff really cares about your child/ children! They plan a lot of fun activities for the kids especially on half days of school! I would recommend the program to anyone looking for child care!
Catherine DonovanJan 7, 2025Do not send your child here. They care more about money and “STARS” than the kids. Management is rude and condescending. They’re either hiding in their office with the door closed, or leaving early for the day. The “teachers” barely teach. Their expectations of toddlers’ behavior are unrealistic and ridiculous; the way they speak to them is even worse. My child’s progress decreased since sending them here. Do yourself and your child a favor and find another option.
Christopher WhiteDec 17, 2022This place should be shut down. Management is UNPROFESSIONAL and RACIST! They do not care about the safety of the children. If you complain about the conduct of the staff, their resolution is to get rid of the child. The director hung up on me as I was telling her about the behavior of the unqualified teachers. This teacher behaved as if she did not like children, black students specifically. She even had a tantrum one day and left because she did not want to deal with the kids. She said, and I quote, "I don't even wanna be here!" This place is a disgrace. The only reason it's still running is because most of the management and staff are all related.
Ranee BucksonDec 15, 2022My kids really love this daycare. The Darby location has old staffs who really love the kids and love working with them. And if a parent has any concerns/complaints, someone from corporate office will address it to your liking and would even retrain the staff if needed. It very sad seeing all of the negative comments. Yes, the center did closed down a lot when the pandemic started, but so do other places. Overall, I listen to my children to know how they’re being treated than people behaving nice and sweet infront of me and treating my children differently behind me. I believe in seeing with my own eyes than listening to others. I would’ve give them 5 stars if they were perfect, but nobody is perfect. In summary, I love my today’s child family and I’ll say give them a try for yourself before coming to conclusions.
Mercy DAHDec 11, 2022I was warned about this daycare from a parent who child attended but I didn’t listen. Today is the last day of my child attending this daycare. My son is an active 3year old. From the beginning, I informed them that he never attended daycare so he would need time to adjust. The first teacher they had was awesome. She knew exactly what to do and how to interact with kids. She later left a month after my son enrolled and it never been the same. Constantly get call every other day to pickup my kid because the teacher reports she can’t get him to sit down. Most 3year old cannot sit for more than 4minutes. They have unreasonable expectations from toddlers. As of today, I’m removing him for so many reasons( some I not going to speak on). In conclusion, don’t send your toddler to this daycare or preschool.. Most of the office staff are so disrespectful. Had an incident where my son was mistakenly given another kid jacket. Was called about the mistake and I inform the office staff I would returned it the following day. In a demeaning tone, she said” your son is in procession of another child’s property and we need that jacket now!” Implying that my son stole another kid property.

- Pennsylvania rates TODAYS CHILD LEARNING CENTER STAR 4, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on March 22, 2026. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.
Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against TODAYS CHILD LEARNING CENTER?
- No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against TODAYS CHILD LEARNING CENTER at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.
Does TODAYS CHILD LEARNING CENTER accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. TODAYS CHILD LEARNING CENTER holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 15.
Does this page show inspection results for TODAYS CHILD LEARNING CENTER?
- No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects TODAYS CHILD LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
