  • Both our daughters attend Trinity and we are grateful knowing we send them off to caring hands every day. We’ve seen both of them grow and thrive thanks to the supportive staff at Trinity. They go above and beyond and include families in all kinds of activities - concerts, picnics, egg hunts, carnivals, etc. We cannot recommend Trinity enough!

  • Trinity has been such a great fit for my family. My two kids go there. And talk about school everyday! The staff and directors are always welcoming and understanding. Trinity makes you feel at home, with such well organized events and more. I definitely recommend this school!

  • My son attended here and graduated Pre-K in 2015. Last summer he worked as a helper with their summer camp. It has been a beautiful full circle moment watching him grow from preschooler to helper with all the wonderful staff at Trinity Academy.

  • I had the opportunity to complete a nursing project at Trinity Academy of West Chester, where I explored and observed the childcare center. I was extremely impressed with the environment and the staff. Every staff member I encountered was warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive to the needs of the children. It was clear that the children were well cared for and closely monitored throughout the day. The activities and toys provided were developmentally appropriate and thoughtfully chosen to support learning, creativity, and growth at each stage. The center was well organized, engaging, and nurturing, and I did not observe any unmet needs among the children. Overall, Trinity Academy of West Chester provides a safe, supportive, and enriching environment, and it was a pleasure to observe such high-quality care in action.

  • I am writing to report serious concerns regarding staff behavior at Trinity Academy of West Chester. I believe the director needs to enforce stronger discipline and accountability among staff rather than placing responsibility primarily on the children. My child experienced significant emotional distress and trauma while attending this school. I personally witnessed staff members yank children by their hands, forcefully make them sit down, and yell directly in children’s faces. These incidents were not isolated to my child; I observed similar behavior toward multiple children on multiple occasions involving the same staff members. When I reported these concerns to the director, I was told that because my child did not have visible physical marks, she was not considered a victim. I was also told, “I’d do the same thing — not every teacher teaches the same. We are taking care of it.” Additionally, the director stated that when she asked her own child, her child said she behaved the same way. I want to clearly state that I did not sign any form granting permission for staff to physically handle my child in this manner. The only circumstance in which physical intervention would be acceptable is to prevent immediate harm, such as separating children during a fight or protecting a child from danger. My child later shared with me, “My teacher grabbed me in the hallway and in the classroom. It felt like she was taking my muscles away.” Despite multiple children reporting similar incidents, the staff member involved was neither suspended nor terminated. Instead, my child and other affected children were removed from the classroom while the teacher remained in her position. Every family has different parenting approaches, and many parents would not consider yelling in children’s faces or physically forcing compliance to be appropriate discipline practices. Since transferring to a new school, my child is now happy and thriving. However, I believe no child should have to experience what my child and others experienced. My purpose in submitting this statement is to advocate for safer practices, accountability, and the protection of all children currently and future enrolled at this school.

Questions parents ask about Trinity Academy of West Chester

Is Trinity Academy of West Chester a licensed child care provider in Pennsylvania?

Yes. Trinity Academy of West Chester holds Pennsylvania certificate 100386873-0001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Office of Child Development and Early Learning in Chester County. The current certificate runs to September 28, 2026. Confirm current standing at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch before enrolling.

What is Trinity Academy of West Chester's Keystone STARS rating?

Pennsylvania rates Trinity Academy of West Chester STAR 2, on a scale of one to four where four is highest. That tier took effect on October 11, 2025. Keystone STARS measures programme standards such as staff qualifications and learning environment, not inspection outcomes.

Does Pennsylvania record a negative sanction against Trinity Academy of West Chester?

No. The state's provider dataset records no negative sanction against Trinity Academy of West Chester at the time the record was published. That is a single field in a snapshot, not a full compliance history, and it is not the same as a clean inspection record. The licensing inspection detail is at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch.

Does Trinity Academy of West Chester accept child care subsidy?

Yes. Trinity Academy of West Chester holds a subsidy agreement with the state. An agreement means the provider can bill the subsidy programme, not that a funded place is free today. Eligibility is decided by your Early Learning Resource Center, Early Learning Resource Center for Region 19.

Does this page show inspection results for Trinity Academy of West Chester?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Trinity Academy of West Chester's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
