At Under The Willow you and your children will always be met with kindness, respect, consideration, inclusion, and community. My family and I met Miss Jackie in 2016 and have been a part of her school since it opened. My child, now eight-years-old, received a firm foundation in this Waldorf inspired school. A foundation of empowerment, confidence, adventure, love, care, and community that she will carry with her forever. Each morning my child was welcomed with genuine intention by the entire staff, and received top notch care. She enjoyed hands-on learning with baking, painting, circle time, and hand-work, immersed herself in nature based indoor and outdoor play, and learned to love and care for animals. The mixed age classroom cultivated her social skills with her peers as she moved from youngest to oldest through the years. The staff is compassionate, committed and resourceful, each child is valued as an individual, and the bridge between home and school is a beautiful representation of that. If you're looking for a wholesome, community-driven, foundation-setting approach to your child's preschool years of care, look no further.
krysten McGowanJul 8, 2023I have been sending my children to Under The Willow School for the past 4 years and I can honestly say it’s the best decision I ever made. Between the enriched experience they get through learning from each other, being in nature and working with their hands it’s such a well rounded way to learn and grow! Not to mention the INCREDIBLE teachers and community built there! The schools location is a beautiful and warm oasis where my kids absolutely love to be! It allows them to leave the crazy world at the gate and be how they should be as kids blissfully playing and learning! If I could give this school more than 5 stars I would. Don’t believe me? Ask anyone that’s ever enrolled their children, they will tell you the same thing!
