  • Came to this daycare after leaving a horror show and it’s been an amazing 2 years. Between the consistent communication, friendly staff (even greeting my kids outside of daycare just as nice as they do in daycare) the summer fun, etc my daughter and son are flourishing

  • I can't rave enough about this daycare/preschool facility. My husband and I were so impressed by how much our son opened up and grew into his own person in just one year of being there. As a almost non-verbal 4 year old with limited words, they accepted and embraced my son regardless of the special "love" he needed day in and day out. After a year, my son was counting, writing his own name, naming all the letters in the alphabet, excited to go to school, and was a totally different child. I truly think it was because of the caring and passionate staff they have working at Upper Perk Child Care Center that made a difference in not only my child's life but other children's too. Hands down one of the best we have in the valley. Highly recommend.

  • My son loves it here. Teachers are attentive and have great communication with me. My son struggled his first day and they made sure to give him the extra attention he needed to get comfortable. Shout out to Ms. Kirsten and Ms. Jenn for handling a very anxious little boy on his first day!

  • This is not the facility that you want to leave your child if you want to have peace of mind after you drop them off. I gave it one star because that’s the only way I can leave my review it should of been ZERO!

  • A incident happened with my non verbal austic son and was handled very poorly. At no time was I given an explanation as to why a teacher wouldn't stop verbal taunting? 4 year olds will be 4 year olds and while teachers can not control their actions, they are able to stop the actions while happening. Aren't "teachers" there to keep children safe physically and emotionally? I was then treated so poorly by a different "teacher" later in the day who wasn't even present when the incident happened. This women was so extremely rude, and basically said i was fabricating the whole thing. The girls at the front desk tried to be helpful and they were kind but there is just no explanation that will ever be reasonable enough to allow actions like that to happen in a classroom and to allow staff to treat children and parents so disrespectful. 9/20/22 I still have not heard a single word from anyone at this facility, although someone did reply that they were looking into my review. All I want is someone to care at ALL about my sons serious situation. I was asked to sign an incident report on him being struck with a toy when playing which was obviously a accident, yet no incident report on teachers neglecting to stop verbal harassment? I just cant understand this at all!

  • STEER CLEAR if your child has any special needs! Particular teachers at this facility are completely rude and inept. Verbal bullying was witnessed in the classroom, by a parent, while the teacher did nothing. So sad!!

Does Upper Perkiomen Child Care Center accept child care subsidy?

Yes. Upper Perkiomen Child Care Center holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. Does this page show inspection results for Upper Perkiomen Child Care Center?

No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Those results are not included here, and there is no open dataset of them, so nothing on this page reflects Upper Perkiomen Child Care Center's inspection history either way. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
