I love this daycare. My son started at Watson & Moore when he was 4 months old and the care has been wonderful in the infant room. The teacher in the infant room is absolutely incredible. My son is meeting all his milestones early, which I attribute to all the interactive play and different play areas the infant room has, as well as the staff and other infants. The staff and owner have really been my village as a single working mother. They are receptive to feedback and accommodating to any requests or complaints - very responsive through the app. I like that it is a small, independently owned daycare and not a big chain- I love the flexibility they give with hours- open at 6am and full time/ part time, and their price is very fair. They did lose an incredible staff member due to retirement and she is hard to replace, which another reviewer had mentioned, so there is a transition period where the afternoon infant room teacher rotates, but I haven’t found there to be a lapse in the care provided. They do have a food program and they have a caterer- which I cannot speak to for review, since my son is mostly still on formula and I provide his small meals - but they have snacks for him if he ever needs or wants one. The facility is very clean and well kept.
Brittany GraberJun 8, 2026We had an overall average to low average experience at this daycare. The positives: the outdoor play area is very nice, and they’ve been putting effort into repainting and improving the inside of the facility. Food and meals are included in the cost. The staff was always very responsive to messages, and their pricing was the most reasonable we found in the area. The owner always planned fun celebrations for holidays with decorations and treats for the kids. The negatives: One major issue is security. The exterior doors were only locked during certain times of the day instead of remaining locked consistently, which does not seem safe and appears to go against state childcare policies. We also would have appreciated better communication when new staff members were hired to work in our child's classroom. We received updates for some staffing changes, like when Miss Jubilee retired (she was wonderful and greatly missed), but other new staff showed up without any notice to parents, and in many cases, the staff did not introduce themselves. My son never truly loved attending here, and I personally felt the "curriculum" left something to be desired. In several photos, I noticed that my child was writing from right to left instead of left to right, and it didn't appear to be corrected. It didn’t seem like he was learning or engaging as much as we had hoped. Another challenge was that operating hours sometimes changed depending on staffing levels, number of children attending, or holidays, which could make scheduling difficult for working parents. I also noticed that many of the positive reviews appear to have been left by current staff members of the center, which made it harder for me to get a clear picture of other parents’ experiences when we were researching childcare options. Overall, there are some caring people here and some positives, but there are also important areas that need improvement. We ultimately decided to move our child to another daycare to finish out the school year.

Irene ReedNov 4, 2025There’s so much I could say about Watson and Moore Learning Academy! My daughter absolutely loves it here. She loves the staff and so do I. Very welcoming and it’s a pleasure to know she’s in good hands while I’m at work. Highly recommended!! I prayed for a good day care center and I found it!
Rita McCoyAug 7, 2025I absolutely intimate Waston and Moore Learning Academy is. The mixed-age environment has been a huge plus for my daughter’s social development. She was accommodated so well from the very beginning the staff really took the time to get to know her and make her feel comfortable. I’ve already noticed a big improvement in her social skills, and she looks forward to going every day. I’m truly grateful for the care and attention they provide.
Ny D.Jul 18, 2025I cannot say enough good things about Watson&Moore Learning Academy ! From the moment we enrolled, it was clear this is a place where children are genuinely cared for and nurtured. The staff is warm, professional, and dedicated, creating an environment that feels like a second home for the kids. The facility is clean, safe, and well-equipped with a variety of engaging toys, books, and learning materials. I love the structured yet fun daily schedule, which includes age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity, social skills, and learning. The teachers are fantastic at keeping parents updated with regular communication, so I always know how my child is doing. What impresses me most is how much my child has grown—both socially and academically—since attending. They come home happy, excited to share what they’ve learned, and eager to go back the next day. It’s a relief as a parent to know my child is in such capable hands. If you’re looking for a child care center that prioritizes your child’s well-being and development, I highly recommend

Does WATSON & MOORE LEARNING ACADEMY LLC accept child care subsidy?
- Yes. WATSON & MOORE LEARNING ACADEMY LLC holds a subsidy agreement with the state. The agreement covers these age groups: Infant and toddler, Preschool, School-age. - No. Pennsylvania completes at least one unannounced inspection a year at every licensed provider, and publishes the results through the provider search at compass.dhs.pa.gov/providersearch. Look the provider up there and read the licensing inspection record.
