The rooms were in terrible condition. The manager and camp staff were unfriendly. I do not recommend this place for a vacation.
S KJun 20, 2026I had such a relaxing time staying here! It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the busy world for a bit and just enjoy being outdoors with nature. The grounds are well-maintained and it’s a super friendly environment, making it a great spot for a weekend getaway at YMCA Camp Sherwin.

Arnold JohnsonAug 22, 2025I use to camp here from the ages 5-19 man was i excited to come back for my kids to enjoy what I got to experience! WRONG!!! Rules upon rules some I would understand but the dumb ones really kill the feel of camping and having fun. We use to go into the field at night to watch the stars… can’t do that anymore! Kids can’t be kids and play without you basically having them on a leash the whole time! Bathrooms absolutely terrible crap on the walls and stalls. Sad to say but not sure if we will ever be back! Really went down hill from where it use to be.
Jesse AndersonJul 29, 2025My husband stayed here in a tent campsite. Check-in was easy, and the woman working the desk was very friendly. The bath houses were clean. Our campsite was nice. The steps down to the beach are steep, but we went up and down them many times with no issues. The beach below is beautiful and isolated. We really enjoyed our stay and plan on going again!
