  • Almost ten (ten!) years ago, we signed our firstborn up for an hour “trial run” at EELC. I spent the time down the road, sipping a coffee and wondering how she would do without me. I returned to a smiling three month old who enjoyed her new friend circle and never looked back. Two more kids later, we are in our last few months and I am not sure how to close the chapter on a place that has meant so much to our family. I am a teacher (literacy) and my husband and I knew that investing in our kids’ early years would be critical and worth it. We are grateful to director, Shannon, and all staff for seamlessly helping each of our very different personalities grow from infant to Pre-K graduate. Through a pandemic, a tricky premature birth, and all of the in-betweens, we witnessed firsthand how the staff put their all into keeping this community tight and promoting safety, comfort and normalcy. Our learners entered Kindergarten with confidence, a solid literacy and social-emotional skills foundation and a group of friends that formed their first home base. This is a rare place and, as echoed in other reviews, we grew into parenthood with their support and the network of fellow families they have cultivated. With highest endorsement, we recommend EELC for a comprehensive, infant to school experience.

  • We are so beyond happy to have enrolled our daughter at EELC. The love and attention that she receives from the staff made us feel very comfortable with this often difficult transition! She has so much fun every day she goes.

  • EELC has been our son's 4th childcare center and is by far and away the best one we've experienced. Our daughter has gone there since she was an infant and the amount of love and care the staff has for our kids radiates through every interaction. The staff is rightfully the highlight and Shannon and her team are truly special. But the classrooms are clean, full of activities, and the school prioritizes events, outings, and takes advantage of the awesome playground area. This is a place where parents want to get involved, where community is fostered, and most importantly where you know your child is well cared for and their development is prioritized. I'd highly encourage any prospective parents to get their application into EELC ASAP so they have a chance of sending their children to this wonderful place.

  • We've had both of our children attend EELC, and it has been an incredible experience for our entire family. The staff here are not just childcare providers -- they're caring, kind, and truly amazing educators who have made a lasting impact on us. Many have become babysitters and trusted friends of our family. What stands out most is how much they've taught me about parenting. Their insights, patience, and expertise have helped me grow as a parent, and I'm grateful for the guidance they've provided to both the kids and to us as parents along the way. Both of my children have thrived under their care. The warmth and genuine love the team show every day creates an environment where kids feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. I can't recommend this daycare enough to any family looking for a place that truly cares about both children and parents.

  • My family lived in Providence for one year and our children getting into Eastside Early Learning Center was absolutely without a doubt the best thing that could have happened to our family. The teachers, curriculum, education, grounds, and care are all top notch. My girls would have a Great Day, every day! For parents, nothing is more important than knowing your children are safe and well cared-for. My daughter ended up getting sick and was diagnosed with a life-changing chronic disease which requires extra attention, monitoring, and hands-on care. Shannon and her staff learned with us and supported us throughout the whole process. “Above and beyond” doesn’t scratch the surface for what EELC did for my daughter and my family. If you have the opportunity to send your child to EELC, do it.

  • Sending our son to EELC was one of the better decisions we've made as parents. We feel relaxed and worry free at drop off everyday knowing that he's getting great care and attention from his incredibly kind and loving teachers. They do a wonderful job with their curriculum centered around learning through play, and the amount of time the kids spend outside in their wonderful tree lined playground is really an added bonus. We can't say enough good things about EELC.
